Yes the mood is very grim in canterbury. I only wish there is something that I could do.Have just been looking at some videos and pictures. One postive note is that they are still finding people alive and getting them out of the ruins. Hopefully they will find many more over the next few days and they can be safely rescued.
I was supposed to be doing work in South Canterbury and North Otago over the next 3 weeks. We have canceled most of it, but I will be coming down to do some stuff in Dunedin/Oamaru/Timaru in the week of the 21st-24th March. Keep it in mind just in case anyone (you/ your family/ the local Plunket or vet/ whoever) gets stuck, has need of supplies, has shortages of anything.
