Just posted on Sarge's thread about interesting culinary tatses here in B. C. Elk burger with avocado, pickle and beetroot!!
There's a zillion Aussies here working the lifts, waitressing etc etc.

Ah, I have another claim to fame.
Not only did I not get into see the Taj Mahal a couple of years go, I didn't get to the top of the Empire State Building. But, I did get to the top of the Rockerfeller centre where I was able to photograph the Empire State.

Went to a great chippy in Boston: The Daily Catch. Looks like crap on the outside (and inside) but boy oh boy! The food was terrific, though I didn't have the Maine lobster.

Had the almost best hamburger in the universe at a place in Westfield Mass. called the Southwick Inn. All it needed was beetroot. But Undies, it really is true that everywhere you go for food you get asked Fries with that..."

Lunch with Techie was great. Went to a restaurant at Grand Central Stn. after he gave me and Mr Rags a guided tour of Grand Central. Would you believe over 117 lines run to it!!! And Central in Sinny has a whole 26 platforms!
OK. Techie. What do the Undies want to know about him. I'll type lightly so he won't see.

Have only been getting occassional snippets of news about the earthquake. I was shattered when I heard. Am going to get off here in a few minutes and log on to ABC news to try to pick up some info.

Skiing here is absobloody lutely wonderful, though I really need new boots.

What's happening in WA? I read last page of Feb undies and assume more heatwave?
