Thank you Stirly and I love your pictures! NIce to have a happy welcome to greet us!
Reg :l - nice to see you on here on a week night :H
Guess what?! Mr B and son cleaned out the storage while I was away and Mr B junior (now 12) sorted out fluffy animals that he is now to old for. Most are going to the Womens Refuge or Vinnies, but he kept three for me :H:H I now have my very own Tigger, a chook (with a very odd look on its face!!) and an owl puppet.
I shall go away to work and contemplate my own personal bumper sticker ......Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Orf to the coalface today. Must say, was up a bit late last night building my empire. Not good to get too fired up before bed. Looking at the housemate option more seriously now.
Tidy up joint, then bite the bullet.
The Queen's been on the blower this morning. Want's me to keep an eye on Willie while he's here. I said.......'Look Liz, ok i'll keep an eye on the young bloke, but he's got to find his own way, as you know'. She then went off about Fergie, and the least i could do was let her vent.
A marvellous day to all, and thank your mother for the rabbit's.

Morning All,
I may be a bit off in my way of thinking, but I don't mind this "The End of the World is Nigh" stuff. (Although not too good for the children.) My mum is a religous freak and has been predicting the end of the world for years. The first time, in my memory, was 1975. Then, when AIDS appeared in the 1980's, she said that was the plague as in "plagues and pestilence." Then there was 2000. And now I don't know what she has to say.
It's meant to be all over on 23rd December 2012. I've asked my son what should we do about Christmas shopping that year. Start early anyway or leave it until after the world hasn't ended? In which case the shops are going to be packed. And trying to get all the food, pressies, wrapping and preparation done in one day will be a nightmare.
Sorry to be flippant. :H I hope this doesn't offend anyone.CW
