Oooohh the travelogue gets a bit higgeldy piggeldy... but here goes.
Now, I promised Techie I wouldn't put this pic up in case he got recognised, but I told the Teddies to block his face out.... I think they did a good job!



And if all the Undies who live in Sinney think we have a stuffed up water front, take a look at this.... it has to be prime real estate in the centre of New York! Used to be a TB or Smalpox or some sort of communicable disease place... I think I prefer North Head at Manly!







And all round the place are little reminders of 11th Sept

So, across the Brooklyn Bridge.... wher someone has very thoughtfully put up a welcome sign for us!
Oops, made the pic a bit small... It says Welcome to Brooklyn and underneath it says How sweet it is.




Now, if you're like me and have been fed a contiuous diet of NY cop shows, you'd think everyone in NY lived in a tenemant... but no. Look ! Freestanding houses in Queens!! This is where we had lunch with outr friend's extended family.




Including the Clark iceblock pool!!




After the most amazing lunch, in which Mr Rags and I sat dumbfounded, we were taken to Massechusets (spelling) ... It was bloody cold. Here is our hosts house...





And our host shovelling snow... there's a law that you have to keep your pathway clear of snow.




One helluva way to get exercise!

Sorry Undies, that's it till tomorrow. I am feeling really crap with the 'flu. I'm signing off.

That's why my posts have been so nothingness.
I got my letter and documentation off to VISA yesterday, so fingers crossed they may be able to recover some of the money I was scammed. That done I will put it behind me and stop churnimng my guts over it.
