Where's that bloody moon? I've got one camera mounted on a tripod, another with a huuuuge tele lens at the ready, binoculars around my neck ... I wish David Attenborough was here. I like his voice.

Visitors just left. I started yawning at 9pm but they didn't take the hint.
Moon reportage - just seen it! Wasn't there 30 minutes ago when I last looked, but it clouded over earlier in the evening. I can confirm that it is large and round and white.
I have to say that it doesn't look any closer that it was last month though!!
Oops, I see it has been spotted in Oz too!!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Moon spotted in Alabama, USA, too.
Large, white, beautiful glowing in the sky between the as yet unleafed trees.
I am hoping it doesn't get any closer anytime soon. That could be a bad thing, physics-wise.
TF, I am with you on the Japanese tourists. We had quite a few in Atlanta this week on some conference or other. Their faces and demeanor spoke volumes. Sadness, worry, fear.
I can only imagine and I don't want to.

Oh, it really is a quiet weekend!
Yesterday was my first day AF and smoke free for as long as I can remember. I have decided to quit the fags as it's just too much hard work trying to find places to smoke. When we were in Perth, the hotel was completely smoke free, so once son was asleep I was going down from the 14th floor and out onto the street for a cigarette. How classy!
And we're going on holiday in 2 weeks with another family who don't smoke and my hubby gave up a couple of weeks ago....so here goes.
On the downside, I had a dream last night that Charlie Sheen wanted me to leave my husband to marry him. And he was going to support me financially.
Other than that, I have a poorly son who's laying on the sofa being pathetic!
Hope everyone is having a sooper weekend.CW

Oh dear.
Looks like I phoned the wrong sort of agency to get Frog that man.
Still, I imagine the feng shui was fantastic if nothing else...... There must be a pretty high end skin care range left behind in the bathroom.
Actually as long as I've got the floor to myself, I'll stage one of my little monologues.
I've got Froggy's number..........
I seem to remember a 'pink dress day' being announced circa March 2010.
I reckon our Frog's got herself a 'Same Time Next Year' deal going on with some bloke in Melbourne.
Am I the only one who remembers Allan Alda in that movie ? Shame. Great concept. .....
Supermoon was completely over clouded by ...well.....clouds last night.(why is everything supersized these days ?)
Did you forget to seat your visitors in the eject seat Missy ?If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

CW - congrats on your AF and NF day. I reckon there is something to be said for getting over all the crap in one foul swoop. As for Charlie's attempts at seduction ........ the phrase "better the devil you know' comes to mind :H:H.
I have just demolished 2 hot cross buns having spent the morning doing three trips to the dump with trailor loads of bits of tree that were taken down from our neighbour's place at Xmas. I have scratches all over my armies, my back aches and I smell! I kept TF's shining example of outdoorsy industriousness at the front of my consciousness every time I felt like giving up and going inside for a cuppa.
Off to have a long soak in the bath!Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

What a quiet Sunday in Undieland ... must mean we're all out doing stuff????
CW - I'm soooo with you on the fags. It utterly shits me that I now only book hotel rooms with balcony or courtyard. They're bloody expensive. I don't think I'm far behind you but not quite ready to promise right now. ***paaathetic***
Bridge - you are sooooo creeeeeepy. It's spooky. Not going to tell which bit you're right about.
I couldn't remember what I said last year so I re-read the entire March 2010 Undies thread. Hell, there's some funny stuff there. And so many people long since gone. We still had Sweaty tightly tucking us, Sheep was still here ... it was wonderful to read back and even more wonderful that we're still here, talking shit a year later.
Missy - ok, the armies may hurt but don't you feel fanftastic?
I had a good burst of outdoor activity in the a.m. but sloped off after lunch to BBC news to catch up on the Libya crisis. What can you say? ....
Waving to the boys who will chime in soon, no doubt, and regale us with tales of great adventure
