I also think, just quickly re- our health system and some folk within it, that in my role, i just have to make the best of it, and work with what's available, improvise, and be creative. Whilst i curse some elements, (politicians being a big factor) my attitude, and that of my client's, must not be one of blame. We've got to be independant, take responsibility and control of our own health as best as possible, and look for solution's, then make them happen.

    Bonne Stuffen!

Hi Mr.G, Hi Starty, you're both well despite the difficulties in your work.

TF - I would have been back earlier but son got bogged down with TWO HOURS maths homework and he hasn't finished it yet. And now I'm off to continue with mine!

So much for watching Pommie TV.

Morning Undies, went on a sound journey with some folks last month and will be joining them again this week--learning to quiet my mind. Was just checking out one of their websites this morning and thought some of you may enjoy this. Hope so....

Hello from one of the international visistors.

I just wanted to say that my heart goes out to those in Christchurch. What a horrific display of mother nature. She always "wins."

I hesitated to do this because I know it sounds trite. I have been in the midst of horrific weather and winds and lost friends, etc. I know how discombobulating it is.

Take care, my friends, and be there for each other.

I know time has passed and this may seem "old" but it isn't. Now begins the hard work.

Been there done that. It is doable.

              Love,
              Cindi

Hi Cinders--thank you for the reminder. I have never popped over to express my sorrow at the last tragedy in Underoo Regions. I am truly sorry. Cinders what lovely encouraging words. Take care all. xo

                  Morning everyone.

Good posts from last night - I'm a Dublin fan too!! My ancestors hail from Tipperary (Clonmel). Mind you the last time I was in Dublin (2005) I was intrigued that all the Irish pubs were being staffed by Poles!!!!

Thank you Cinders and RC. The earthquake definitely doesn't feel "old" here and is 80% of the news every day and night. They still have not recovered all the bodies (Probably around another 60-80 to go) , and lots of people still dont have water or electricity. It is likely that the CBD wont actually be open to the public until Xmas.

On the good side, stories about of miracles, everyday heroes, and the way that people across the city and the country and the world are reaching out to help abound.

Forgot to tell you about the groupy thing last night!! It was good, but I'm running out of time and need to get cracking on the day.

Stuffen your bonbons everyone (said in the nicest possible way :H:H) and have a good one

Morning Missy, and a big hello to RC and Cinder's!

You were a groupy Missy? Now why doesn't that surprise me?! You got any pic's?

Have a safe and sober day everyone.

Hey Cinders and RC - thanks for visiting!

                      Morning Missy, MrG and slugabeds,

I'm orf to have some blood sucked out and I tell yers, this 'no coffee' thing has got whiskers on it. And yes, I believe I'll use Bridge's Rooly Rooly Nice Gift Voucher on myself today.

                      Be good.

                        Morning Bonbons,
Yes G, I'm still working - doing the surveying thing...all that thinking...all that maths!! Odd as I consider mydelf 'the creative type' - but the thing with math type stuff is that you don't have to make so many decisions, it's an exact science - do the calculation & get the answer. Much different to trying to decide if that cerise has exactly the right amount of blue in it, or if that skirt is long enough, or how to make the factories to perform a miracle and get everything done on time.
Tawny - that coffee will be so good after the bvlood suckers have been.

is it true that Techie is 4'11" and speaks with a distinct Esperanto accent? I saw that on KTAB's facebook page but would like confirmation.

Going hori now. Mwah, mwah, mwah.
Yep, it's all true. I would have put him at 5'1'' but he was wearing calf length cowboy boots with cuban heels.

                            Good afternoon Undies,
                            It's 3:20 pm yesterday here.

                            Missing you all.
Not a great deal to report, except Mr Rags and I both new ski boots and had a 3 hour ski lesson this morning. Beautiful soft powdery snow.

Bridge, I guess spoiling myself on this holiday is doing something nice for myself. So, I'm going to do something nice for someone else later to-day. Haven't quite worked out what yet.

Mr. G. You orta come over here. The place is full of Aussies and young (nervous) guitar strumming sand soft singing boys who have great aspirations of "making it". I reckon you'd slay 'em!

Missy, Saph, Beags, Charlotte and everyone else, I can't wait to get back to regular Undie posts.
Will prolly log on again Friday arvo which of course will be Sat over there.

Till then, happy trails to you all...

Oh gee Rags you didn't say that when I had to bend at the waist to kiss that mouth of yours. Froglet only wants to confirm my incompatibility with her. My ex was 5' 11' beautiful and we fit together perfectly till....

So there Froglet, you bush wackin' handle oilin' hussy you. There DONE!!!

I can relate to that. I quite like mucking around on spreadsheets myself for the same reason!

Hope you are out replenishing your blood supply with yummy food and coffee TF!!

Rags, you aren't going to have much call for those new boots in NSW :H:H

I'm just back from the gym, where I managed an entire 15 minutes of running without stopping to walk. (this is a minor miracle for me!!). And Techie, you might like to let Sarge know that I have been increasing my sit-up and press-up numbers by 10% a week and am feeling might good about it too!
