Oh dog Reggie, that is crap having to work late on those sorts of things. I sympathise and can only be grateful that I no longer have a National Office and Ministers to report to!

I'm off to get my earmuffs in anticipation of Tawny's imminent awakening.

PS: Is anyone else sick of daylight saving?? I'm over it - every year for about the last month of it my body clock gets completely screwed up - cant wake early enough and go to bed much later than normal. And there is still another 3 weeks to go .....

We are celebrating in NZ by reducing the gender pay gap through taking away lots of income supports for lower paid workers, reducing benefit entitlements for solo mums, and stripping millions of dollars out of early childhood education. Good eh???????

Happy Women's day!

In my day gig sector, we are still fighting for equal pay for women, in some area's. The Australian services union, of which i'm a member, and recently appointed delegate, has been in negotiations with the govt. on that, and we have more rally's/marches planned i believe. Our employer's allow us to attend such rally's.

Have a great day folk's, gotta extract digit and catch the train this morning, just like a real member of society. That's always interesting. Geez, but what'll i wear?!

Yes Missy, I am utterly confused with the light patterns at this time of year, and am ready for the Easter time change, nice cool weather with associated energy, and great sleep weather. I don't think I'll be spending another summer up here in the oven.

Crew, the date may change for the apparent meet-up.
chatting to hubs last night, he may be well more excited at the prospect pf Carlton getting thrashed by Collingwood on July 16 so we're making up our minds this end in the next few days. Hopefully that still will not deter anyone, giving you all enough time to get your rings into gear. I will give you all the concrete date by the end of the week.
Happy, is your man a carlton fan also? Then we can shudder together.

Another day of crutching sheep today & supplying endless amounts of toasted ham & cheesies to the toothless wonder who performs the task. A very quietly spoken smelly man who doesn't waer shoes but has the mind of a steel trap. Fascinating really.Builds his own computers & lives in his own surround -sound theatre like one room ex-warehouse.

Morning All,

HP - Can't say it's a perfect day in Norf Bris! It's cloudy, has been raining and is generally really humid. And the air-con doesn't work. I have the doors and windows open with the hope of getting the breezes though.

I have company today. My friend's daughter is not well so I am looking after her whilst mum is at work. She's completely opposite to my son - quite, in control, polite. She's just sitting in the lounge doing some arty stuff, so I am going to join her.

just crawled out from under the doona, ah the bliss of a sleep in eh. international womens day....might just do something fancy today, like book in for a facial or something. july the 16th would work for me Beags, I'll just have to stock up on the shark repellant though as the great whites lurk round these parts a bit more at that time of year. have a safe travel Bridge.
