Cat psychiatrist? Now there's a way to make a few buck's. But seriously Happy, i hope the felines can sort it out. Isn't the usual solution just to let 'em punch on to sort out the pecking order? Having said that, my old dog (RIP mate) and another (both males) who shared with us for a year a long time ago, would punch on forever if we let them go. Both stubborn.

Have a beautiful day Undies! Speaking of undies, i was having lunch near work yesty, outdoor cafe, and i was positioned to one side so as to be, unwittingly i must add, adjacent to the front window/doorway of a womens underwear shop. Frilly knickerbocker's and bra's and things displayed by the thousand's. I think i was more embaressed than the women shopping for that special underpant, only metres from me, in the big, open shop doorway and window.
Oh gosh G, I often frequent that shop myself when I travel. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Hope to see you there one day. I'm 6' 1" with wide shoulders, wig, wearing an open toed patent leather pump. Love their xxl stuff. BTW G, if you want to write a song about me, I'd be flattered!

          Morning all

Feeling a bit fresher this am (mentally) so that at least will help with my abstaining (hopefully) Thanks for your words Guitarista; I was in a rut where I thought it wasn't worth the effort to stop and face my reality. I hope I can maintain sobriety where I know this isn't true.

Another beautiful day here. Day 3 of plumbers excavating my garden. Joy.
Look forward to hearing from everyone as the day progresses.

                  Arvo all,

I've had another thought re Nello - perhaps some nice butch toys will negate the need for a Pussy Whisperer. O'Riley and Bob seem to get on fine. No behavioural probs whatsoever.

Techie - open-toed patent leather pumps are soooooo last year, don'tcha know?

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous day here - back outside. Weeds wait for no man.

TF, I'm on the other side (later) of the globe. That kitty looks JUST like one my daughter had. She named him Tigrette!! Beautiful kitty, but at one time she blessed (cursed) us with 15!
I posted a video today of my cabin area (and grands). If you ever wonder what I'm prattling on about, check it out. (Journey)
Can't sleep, a popular affliction here, even after long periods of sobriety. Love you guys, never get tired of reading your antics!

Have been a bit stiff and sore for the last couple of days ... thought it was over-exercising, but this morning felt like I had been hit by a truck so decided it was the flu and stayed in bed. Dont think there is anything serioiusly wrong, just a bit under the weather, and nothing too much happening at work, so might as well take advantage!!!

myhappyplace;1087158 wrote: PS Missy if you know a way I can get the cats in the same room, that would be nice. They dont seem fussed but I would like it, just reckon Mr happy would not be so happy if he spied a cat shrink...

Happy, I reckon cats are just a bit like people! Sometimes they like each other; sometimes they dont! Our two get on brilliantly together, but we have a very gentle and non-agresssive boy (Wookie) and a totally out there and in your face girl (Betty ... although Mr B's boy had taken to calling her C3PO :H) When we get foster cats in, sometimes they all will growl a bit at each other and then settle down and comfortably co-habit; and sometimes our cats disappear because they feel like their territory has been invaded; and sometimes the foster cat will just hang out in the "visitor room" because they know that the rest of the house is not "theirs" (and often when they are in this space, they are sick and vulnerable, so we have them closed in and protected)

So I sort of reckon that if your two dont want to be in the same room then you either have to let them fight it out for dominance (but the weaker one might disappear on you) or keep them seperated.

Not much help sorry!! Beagle - you probably have some good advice to give here????!!

And Happy - good news on your blood tests!!

Great stuff Blondie. I keep a little thing in my head that we did at school when I was 5 "If at first you dont suceed; try, try and try again!!"

No, no, no! The humiliation! It was myhappyplace's pussy that was in need of a whisperer, not my butch little lad. And on outings, I'm sorry but Nello just didn't work for me (if it hadn't been his name since puphood, we'd have changed it)

Toys are a minefield as old bitch wants to have hers and his too, so little fighting ensues, ergo my BP increases.

                        Hi Rubywillow.

                          Hello all Undies,

Gee, first a big big apology from me to all of you for not having been here the past week.
I?ve been staying up in Sydney on and off with a friend in need, so couldn?t get on to a computer up there. Plus have loaded myself up with a fair bit of stuff and am now running round stressed and disorganised. It will all settle by mid April and I?ll be back to what passes for normality for me.
I?m going to have to get roaming internet or something.
Now, to catch up on events of the past week.

Angel, I just adore the Kooka. Beautiful.

Bridge, I am so sorry I haven?t been here to give you a bit of support with the huge problem with your friend. What a shame our aftercare is non existent for her. Would she benefit from knowing about MWO?
Please don?t go knocking yourself silly over her. You can only do what you can do. Here?s a huge hug for you.

Ficks, what a beaut rose bush. I hate pruning, whilst mr rags will actually run the bloody mower over plants to prune them! Where abouts did you go Sydney Wildflower Nursery?? Nah, they?re too pricey. Would lurve to have some, but ALL my Leptos I?ve ever had at any the places I?ve live ALWAYS get the dreaded webs all over them and usually cark it?. Like the 3 I planted a few months ago. When I can get there I lurve the Forestry Commission Nursery at Cumberland State Forest up in Sinney

Sapph and Mr G. I been feeling pretty shitty, (like walking out of the Doobies!) But almost 100% now..

Mr G? you mentioned Randy pauch. I bought his book a coupla weeks ago.

Tawn, just look at those beautiful pears and apples? how did they turn out?
Oops. Just read about the tyre change.

Hey Beags, Popeye used to call that ?drink o?clock time? It?s a horrible ingrained habit. I had it every day when I walked into the kitchen to start dinner. Took ages to work strategies to stop.

Missy! Poiple is one colour I wear most of the time. I even got our old house rendered poiple?. But Mr Rags won?t let me paint this one? drat.

Aspy, that is great news about your daughter..

Now, I'm going to be off air until Sunday night. Going over the mountain this evening, helping kill some blackberries and do an inventory (how bloody exciting) .

Lastly, Reggie, what brand of steam mop do you have? i want to get one next month when my allowance comes through.

I recall that little saying from school too, except ours was "if at first you don't succeed, in with the wellie to the heid" (head). It was a genteel establishment. Truly!
