Good Morning Everyone, And yes LoLad like Roger said great group of ppl here so welcome my last drink was feb 19 so i no all about the shakes. Vicki,Roger, Fennel, and Sunshine great to see you all. This morning i go to the gas company about this bill that is 580 dollars due the 11th of march and there's 18 ppl in front of me before the door's even open's a 9:00. So while im waiting in line like within 15 minutes another like 15 ppl behind me.. so i start talking to this guy in front of me and he's like yeah i brought my lunch with me last time i was here i didn't get out till 2:30 in the afternoon im the wtf then he tell's me where im parked i was in a little shopping center they will tow my truck he said wait till you get inside and get your ticket number then move your truck off street because on this avenue there's all parking meter's so i get in side and get my ticket some ppl ahead of me so i dart out the door run down and move my truck to safe spot then run back to building and the i ask this lady if thery called my number 113 she said yes booth 6 so i go there and the guy's still waiting for me im all out breath lol so i tell the guy i need the gas bill changed to my name because my mother passed on in january i said i need a payment plan i also said do i qualify for low income help i told him how much i make a month and he sad yes i do qualify.. So now i won't be billed till early april he said bring in proof from my bank how much i make a month when i get my new gas bill in april he said my new payment's will be around 70 to 80 dollars a month man im so happy if i was drinking i would have just payed the whole bill outright and not even no about this help being sober wayyyyy better any way you all have a great day Bill

Oh and Rog - the ground is hard and if it isn't then it is very soggy due to the storms we had the other night - either way, my tiny little tiller won't be any good in this yet!! But SOON!!

OK, it's official: car shopping rates right up there with having hemorroids and jury duty on the same day! (or so I've been told). Hubs had to cruise OH-SO-SLOWLY past the pick ups, extolling their beauty and superiority (I read the death notices in the paper). Then he played his game of driving to the far side of the car lot, watching out the corner of his eye as a salesman hurried out to us, then drove to the other side as the guy got near. (Sorry girls, he's taken!)
Swanny, my heart SANG when I saw you here. Don't you leave us again, young woman. You don't want to make Mimzy come over there! :H

We stopped for lunch at Red Lobster (their lobster nachos are pretty good!) and Hubs is sleeping it off in the den now, in front of his beloved big screen. Like I've said, he WAS a catch!

Hallo everyone! Just come in from staring to tidy up the garden - it is such a lovely day out but the ground is not good for working in it due to the awful storms from the other night. However I at least cleared some of the debris from where some of the daffs are coming up.

Welcome Sona - this is a great place to be - excuse Ruby's outburst at poor little me - sometimes she forgets to take her meds, then we all just have to humour her :H

Ruby - I think car shopping is on a par with umm, golly, can't think of anything that it is as bad as - I don't mind the dentist, - oh I know - having my nails filed !!!! I HATE that and won't let anyone near them. would rather poke pins in my eyes than go car shopping. so, did you see anything you liked?

Swannie - I didn't know you had gone anywhere - all I knew was that you weren't posting - I thought you were poorly. But welcome back - how are you doing my friend? We did miss you and it is great to see you post again. So, lots of hugs to you :l:l:l:l:l

RC - longing for those first flowers.....I even asked in Schnucks the other day if they had any daffs (that was all I wanted - nothing fancy - just daffs) and they said in a few weeks- well, I will have them by then too. I hope. LOVE daffodils.

BTW: I bought some Jack-In-The Pulpits today (love endangered wildflowers) and I'll tend them till they're strong and find the right place along the stream path to put them out. Then we stopped for a couple things at the grocery, and the 13-year-old stockboy was hauling out wilted hydrangeas. I asked, and he said YES, they were going in the trash. Well, he ended up bringing me a big, sturdy box, and I picked up 6 of them. Some other ladies were hovering around, waiting for me to get done, so they could scavenge. :H (Hubs was standing nearby, arms folded, rolling his eyes.) The man TRIES to think he's in control at home. :H

LOL RC - 'cos that is the way I spell it!! And my computer doesn't mind - I think it is set up for American (English) spelling. !! I e-mailed a friend in UK the other day and mentioned my car tire and put TIRE instead of TYRE and have not heard the end of it!! So, my computer likes my spelling !! Most of the time anyway! how funny......
