Goodmorning friends, so many of you have had busy and difficult days of late, hang in there, we are thinking of you.

Rog, good call on the power of positive thinking.

My kids and I had a great day of fishing yesterday, we caught lots of fish, lake trout, my son caught the biggest of the day. The wind was, once again, blowing like mad - so I made a huge fire out of the wind for the kids, it was nice. Perfect way to start our vacation. Not sure what we will do today, my wife is heading out shopping for the day, so I can hog the kids to myself.

Hey all. First chance to check in today. Told Hubs (who always get's up at the crack of dark) to LEAVE ME ALONE THIS MORNING, I had a rough week. So at just before 9, she stomps his big self into the room, rattling things, picking up stuff, and says 'are you gonna sleep all day' then launched in to all he wants to get done. I guess you know he is NOT having a good day now. I'll check in again later, after I poison his lunch, and lock him out of the house. (He's cleaning out the pool house, throwing things out, and I DAST him to touch my stuff!)

Fen - yoiu sound a little more upbeat...good job on attending the function......it's hard when others are drinking for me too...hubs does it all the time...in fact I mustered up the courage to tell him the other day it really PISSED me off when he did that and he looked at me flabbergasted!!!
kell - you sound happy, but sorry you were sick. I am working today since i missed Wednesday with a migraine. Plus my marvelous assistant manager is THRILLED to have an entire weekend off. She works really hard and is so good at her job...I try to keep her happy.

ps....bragging a little here but it made me feel good....one of my residents was in here sobbing about her nasty divorce and how broke she is. her hubs refuses to give her any money until the court orders it and he even tried to come ger her car tag the other day.....she has no food, so I gave her my food stamp card and sent her to the store.....so many people are suffering these days......maybe some good deeds can make up for some of the stupid shit I have done.......
I have no daffodils, but the azaleas and dogwoods are starting to bloom....
