Mornin' Glories!! My Daddy used to say that. It's official - 4 days straight with Hubs is about my limit at the moment. Something we'll have to build up to when he retires. But SO much accomplished. He's so used to taking care of problems, giving orders, staying focused on the goal, it takes him a week to become a 'human' again. We saw a recently retired co-worker of his yest, and his wife told me they're having big adjustment problems. Transitions, you know. We all have them. My day used to be taking care of my babies, then getting them up and off to school and being sure they were safe and happy. Then agonizing over their teen years, hoping they made good decisions. Now, it's like deja vue', dealing with my grands. But I'm proud of my children's work ethic, humanity, beautiful souls. Do they still drive me crazy (all of them?) YES! But what a fun, crazy ride!
RC, I think you should start writing a book. You are SO knowledgedable!
Bird, there are SO many great parks and programs around my home and cabin. Have you ever been to Smithgall Woods? They have great programs year round.
Hubs keeps coming in, keeping tabs on what I'm doing. I throw things at him. He's pretty quick on his feet for an old man!

Oh, and Vick. My top avatar is a cast I made of my Momma's hands, and the smaller is my 3 oldest granddaughters. The boys were riding a giant ant in the pic, at the 'Honey I Shrunk The Kids' ride at Disney World.

Good afternoon everyone yes it is SPRING!!!!!!!!!!and it is about time sell let see what is going on with me well the wife realy did get hurt in last weeks acident and she starts PT in the morning. They won't total the car but it will take 2 months to fix not happy. Have a 17 year old daughter that has givin me until the end of lent to buy her a car that I can't afford her problem is that she can't drive the rental car because she is not 18 and she can't drive my car because it is a company car so she can't drive at all and that drives her me and my wife crazy. so there that my bitch sesesion for the day Ho and I am adjusting to no AH on my day 2 and I have cut down alot like one a day untill yesterday well got to run everyone have a great week

Biz - did I read that right? your daughter has given you until the end of Lent for you to buy her a car? OR WHAT ?????? No comment. Why is your wife's car going to take so long to fix?

Hey everyone else - really lovely day here today - both daughters have been over - eldest brought grands and she went out with little one and I took eldest grand to the park - had MAJOR meltdown tantrum when it was time to leave!!!! My gosh - my ears are still ringing. Ground is too wet to do anything in the garden - we had rain last night, so I am just really not doing much of anything.

RC - tried calling you - will e-mail instead. Hope everyone else is having a great day.

hello all
didn't get home from Dad's until after midnight....we scrubbed floors and I changed the sheets on 7 beds and vaccumed.....Dad looks so cute in his hats...he refuses to take them off since he is bald now, but I thought he looked very dapper. My sister and her two kids came down from Cleveland for Spring Break and my hephew had his head shaved for a cancer fundraiser, so he and Dad are wearing matching hats.
I brought a canna lily and some other kind of lily from his yard and a cassia root.....I have been outside raking and planting today....I like having a piece of him in the yard.....everyone sounds great...I need to take my second shower since I have been playing in dirt all day..

Bird, we fish for ANYTHING that bites...bass, brim, white perch, catfish and seaweed! The pic of your bobcat was so awesome! Was that taken in your backyard?

BIZ, none of my busineess, I know, but being given an ultimatum by a child would set me OFF. In my era, we had to either save up, build, buy our own. Not even talking about insurance, registration. I'm dealing with a grand who thinks she owed something, so we should talk!! :H
