Well - today my baby is 24 years old!! Wow!:day6: Really hard to believe. He has really been doing great for the past 3 months. Been AF for 90 days.......has really been working hard to improve his life. I'm really proud of him for not letting his past mistakes overtake his life. We are going out for pizza tonight to celebrate.

Hey Nora happy birthday wishes to Casey! I'm sure you're celebrating in some cool way!
Biz-it was really nice of you to ask about me. I've changed my clock around and becoming an early to bed, early to rise kind of person. Getting "up to" two thirds the capacity I'm capable of-if that makes sense. World look out! I've had many bouts of depression in the last 10 years, but have come to learn it doesn't have to define us and we can rest, then move forward. Hippie posted a great little piece on mental health. I would recommend checking it out for reference if nothing else.
Vicki--watching that vid brought me a moment of peace and serenity. Don't harvest the new releases though darlin!

trained new employee all day and got nothing else done....
I am, as usual, tired, but good.

RC - I have brain drain too!!
Vicki - that lake was gorgeous. I am too damn busy right now to enjoy Nature's bounty...I wish I didn't HAVE to work and could have some ME time....I would rest, find a yoga class,clean, read and garden.....

Hi everyone - too late to respond to you all - it is already 20 to 12 and I have to be up at 5.00 and am nowhere near my bed yet!! Just a week ago my friend who has chickens...well his neighbor's pitbull got off the leash and took down one of the chickens that is a pen escape artist (much to it's demise) but it didn't die so they had to axe it. I was there to witness it and thought I'd be fine with seeing it until I went to bed that night...couldn't get the image outa my head for days.

Morning all. No whining about myself today! I usually get in bed every night and get on chat for too long. Hubs put his foot down last night and made me turn if off and go to sleep early. (I let him win some of the battles, makes him feel in charge!)
I've been procrastinating about some chores I've GOT to get done, so time to get my move on.
It's SO great to see everyone back posting, and new folks joining in. Grateful, I've missed your sweet self. Good to see you back in the fold. Cope, welcome!! Maybe Bird will post the pic again of the snake that got in her chicken pen -CLASSIC! Hill, it's great to see you evolving and finding yourself in sobriety. Thanks for sharing your journey. How's the weather up there, RC? Any sign of thawing out?
T, I'm sure something good will come up for you soon. Poor Nora! She shares her struggles with getting to work on time, and now she's become a verb! :H Sun and MB both were trying not to Nora today!! How's the patient, Tony?? Bet you're all ready to get back to normal (well, relative normal for you, Tony!). Biz, Trucker, hope you guys are hanging tough, getting ready for spring. SOS, loved the videos. I haven't figured that out yet, but I will.
