Had a big renewal function tonite so pulled a 12 hour day.

Hello everyone, boy there has been so much going on these past few days with the journey family.

Rog, I did enjoy the last day with my family, good call.
Bird, I was wondering what fish they were after. I was catching lake trout all winter, a few splake here and there too. Wonderful fish.

I am back to the old salt mine, work work work. Oh well, that is the way she goes. My back is slowly getting better. I can't exercise yet, which is really bugging me. Ever since I went sober, I have not missed any weeks of exercise.

well good evening one and all ... good day just laying tile and every time going outside to cut tile watching my back .. but the lady happy to have me work for her and just keep adding on more work .. but really wish the job was closer ..traffic a bitch..

and well what really going on is that i have unpaid taxes ...that might just show up and then there bad credit..to which i have never had any credit to speck of and have anyways went without or pay by cash ..to me i have always been a hands on.. never taking the time to read how to do things.. but to learn by doing and never a pencil pusher ... i have come so far from working with my hands bloody on the first day of roofing throwing roof tile ..for 9 years and learning structure to bulk up the roof to handle the weight..to a pea-on putting drywall where needed and then learning how to build with metal framing and then learning how to read blue prints ..then moving up north and taking a job for 6.50 an
hour for a red neck to where i knew more then him and learning hands on what was needed to build a house from the ground up and a few other jobs in-between on the way to working for myself and then one boss sold me his old tools and then started rg construction and to where i was just a sub-contractor and for the last 10 years working as a handyman.. you can say i have been asleep and now waking up having three years sober and yes i want to do things right and to which i was planing on handling things in its own time and we all know the saying it takes money to make money .. so now i have a dead line to win lose or draw.. i will be paying either way and i have to say I'm scared ..i don't want to fail ..a word i don't use often .. but now i have a big can of worms that has open up and to which i hope i can close quietly...
without it costing me everything and the kitchen sink ..i have always had respect for everyone and never ripoff anyone and the people i have work for in the past and now have anyways loved my work and yeah there's always one homeowner that will always try to go down on the set price..
but i have never given a homeowner a reason to turn me into the city and have always gotten great referrals from them .. this is just the state of florida looking for money and believe me i have heard some horror story where there was this 70 year old lady looking to get her roof pressure wash and she call up and i go there and the reason why she need her roof c lean was the city of hollywood sighted her for a dirty roof and it was just a few spots that really needed to be clean ...
that my story and sticking to it ..

ps this fight has just begun

Rubes your pm box is full...had a hell of a night last night with my kid having a meltdown and had to call the guidence counselor she gonna talk to her this morn and send some stuff home of good places for counsel well i am beat and goin back to bed and go to work later...

Bird, sorry about your kid - hope all is okay today - good seeing the guidance counselor. Hope that helps some.... really hard when it is your child going through stuff - makes you feel so helpless.

Jan - good morning to you too. Hope you get to moving a bit faster - I am off today and feel as if I need it. Then of course have a run until Sunday. Oh well.

Am feeling a bit bummed - RC and I were trying to get together in April and thought we had it sorted but it has all gone pear shaped - I feel bad about it and know that RC will feel bummed too. Just too many little incidentals for it to work. America and Canada are just TOO big!!!
