Yep, Bush was an absolute treasure-trove of funny quotes, Cassia. My all-time favourite was:

"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

Still haven't worked out if he meant what he said or not...

It occurred to me the other day that the quality of the "writing" here is extremely high considering we're a bunch of (mostly ex-) pissheads (excuse my French, expat). Remarkably few grammatical or spelling mistakes indeed, especially when compared to other internet forums. Not quite sure what to conclude from that.

Excuse my French!!! :H Something funny is the French say English leave or "fil? ? l'anglaise" while the English say French leave! So where does that come from? Must go look it up! But one thing is true--the relationship between the French and English is kind of strange--love hate? I am neither French (or English!) so I can ask this.

I'm really good but tired, work is manic and we won a new contract this week, so will be even more manic, but I realise that in this current climate how lucky I am so for now I can live with working and sleeping :H:H:H
