          Yep Stirly, the duck is in the oven and now the fruit sauce is made - apricot and blackcurrant in a balsamic jus - wow I've impressed myself. Son has just come in whinging cos he has to work in maccied's on Paddys day, my reaction was brill double time - what the feck else would you be doing at 16 on Paddys day - so he's thick with me now!

                  As for son - yes, that's what he should be doing on Paddy's Day - working to make extra money. What would he want to do at 16 - go and get pissed with his pals.
