Just to add I had major cravings last night but because of this thread I was able to win the battle again:thanks:

Because of THAT thread I decided I wanted to stop baclofen as it seemed to cause some kind of brain damage:upset:

I was only on a low dose anyway but combined with being hungry and stressed re Daughters wedding and impending move to the Middle east etc. etc. It all added to me lowering my guard.

Anyway I am OK now. Off to the dentist and prepare for another 20 miler.

I took Bac and it does work. I would hate to see some one stop taking it because of a thread that became a major pissing contest. Alcoholism is not a joke - it nearly destroyed my life. I was lucky to syumble across bac - not saying everyone will have the success I had but i would hate to see some one that has it not give it a chance...
