Some days on and others are off !

Hi Dixon. It's so wonderful to see you posting again and to look at the progress you've made over the past few months. I'm a huge advocate of Baclofen as it's totally changed my life. I have complete disinterest in AL and can now live a 'normal' life, even enjoying a drink on special occassions without ending up a trainwreck. I've chronicled my Bac journey on my thread "On A Mish'n" if you're interested. Hitting the "switch" is the most amazing feeling anyone addicted to alcohol could ever imagine. Admittedly, I was in a position to go at it like a bull at a gate (not having to work etc), but it was SO worth it.
Best thoughts and wishes going your way.

Great work, Dixon, and of course I remember you. Your pain when you joined MWO touched and affected me deeply. That's how it is for us here. We really care about new ones and want to encourage and support them in their journey. I'm certain you will grow to love and feel compassion for those who find this site when you have reached your goals. Even now, your contributions to the forum can assist those who are just finding us or lurking, so please, keep on posting your ups and down as it's all valuable input to MWO.
I like your signature comment. "Giving is Living." I also like to think that "Living is Giving." It works for me.

            Great Fellow!

            Hi Mish,
Its nice to hear that you are living a normal life.I understand that the real taste of life comes from normal living so I want to be back to that switch !!Others way of livings are just for a moment and burden for future .
You know what happened to me today though it is only 7 sober days ,may be it happened quickly as I have been sober quite frequently with some relapses.

            - I enjoyed my lunch in fullest,so tasty and delicious. The same food I used to eat in hurry up just fulfil my stomach and hunger .I was just fulfilling my physical needs but today I covered mental satisfaction which is important part of compliance.
-I have been able to have my lunch with my family after a decade !
-Once I felt the taste of food I have almost no craving for alcohol today !
-I was just lurking in negative and unproductive tasks now visited website like business ,cultural, political forum in internet which made me think to good as well reading out how people are managing successful life.
-With alcohol we always think to reduce our intake or waste the time how to give up and will be lurking only with this problem so I suggest my colleagues to surf the productive sites so we regain our hiding positive strength ,which would help for quick recovery.
            That's all now.
Tonight, working with boozers t with out any intense craving.I an taking ice-cream and yoghurt instead.
