Mrs. A - sorry about the ongoing problem with your crown. It shouldn't come off that easily. Either the dentist is not using high-quality dental cement or there is a problem between the tooth that has the crown and the tooth that bites on it. When you close your teeth, do you feel like one of the two is pressing on the other rather than just sitting on it? Perhaps the crown needs to be evened off a bit or the other tooth. Or perhaps it is the way you chew your food. Do you know if you grind your teeth in your sleep? Either of the last two could torque the crown off. Sorry to go into so much detail, but it isn't normal for a new crown to come off so soon. I've got enough prosthetic dental work in my mouth that I could probably write a patient's guide to crowns and bridges.

I posted a few times yesterday but our older son came over in the evening so I wasn't on the boards. And I was at work all day today. So I'ze here now. But not for long. Gotta go walk the mutt innabit and I've been up since 6 a.m. so will probably crash a bit early. AND I had a hectic day at work. But I enjoyed it. Working with younger son and all....
