Having had a few interviews this week -

Obv be smart but the most important thing is be confident, good eye contact and don't babble. Take your time if you need to in order to answer the question. A delay is better than a 5 minute diatribe to get to the point.

Smile sweetly, and don't badmouth previous employer's!

tanks EW i found him when he was a pup then found owner who didnt want him and was happy for me to take him. ive also rescued a golden lab sasha who ate my whole sofa and i mean you couldnt see any floor honestly she makes Marley from the book look like a saint!! also went shopping one night to sainsburys during last years frozen spell and a little cat came up to me looking for food so after a day of going back and to feeding her i picked her up and took her home!! What are we like eh!

You will go to heaven! I am like that with animals. I went to Italy a lot with my last job, and the stray dogs there would all congregate at my hotel when I was in town as I snuck them food, even though the hotel manager didn't like it. It got so I would arrive on a Monday, and by Monday night 'woofs' had gotten around that I was back and they'd trundle down the high street with me.

Sorry - got caught up there.

So, I met this guy for lunch yesterday who works for the bank I am interviewing at. I set up this meeting long before I got the interview. Turns out the guy has just been promoted. Also turns out that the interview is in his building. I think I am interviewing for this guy's old job!!!
