Having an awesome day. Started off with a walk through mist laden hills that snaked along a pristine bubbly river...traversing bubbling waterfalls and frog green moss covered boulders that formed tiny magical pools with wonderful fernery and possibly inhabited by platypus. Finally wound our way to an idyllic sandy beach of the most exquiste crytsalline sand. Sat in the sun gazing at the suns rays casting millions of twinkling diamond on an ocean so silent and still. Ah the sheer bliss of this tiny island, I wouldnt live anywhere else if you paid me a million bucks. BTW I have just erected a massive sign at out northern most point. Had to hitch it to a few lighthouses and a rocky headland with my newly acquired knottage skills. It reads: MAINLANDERS FUSK ORF!!!!!! luv yas but not THAT much xxxxxx
Well, undies, I've been absent due to family pressures. My mum is still not at all well and is needing to go to heaps of medical appointments. She has a lot of decisions to make regarding whether or not to have chemo and radiation after her next operation, but I can only support her in whatever decision she makes.
Bridge, great job in your animal welfare plans. I can't think of many things more worthwhile. Most of my pets have been rescue animals and they've been so loyal and loving. It'd be wonderful to be able to do more on a grander scale.
Reggie, you're an exemplary dad. What wonderful memories Regina will have of her childhood. What a lucky little girl she is!!! I just know love will come your way in the fullness of time. You have such beautiful qualities.
Tawny, straw baling is something new to me but I'm going to look into it. I made another batch of tomato kasundi the other week and this lot was excellent. Spicy and hot enough to clear the sinuses from a distance of three metres.
Missy, how hideously stressful with Mr MB helping out his ex, but it just goes to show what a truly remarkable and generous soul he is. I really hope all works out with the boy for next year.
Mr G, I love listening to the relish with which you live your life. What a gift it is to have a real appreciation for every sober and clear-headed day, and what a great bloke you are to use your life in the service of others. You're a role model.
All other undies and international visitors, I send greetings and wish you all a fabulous day.:h Mish :h

Jeez Mish, I've been wondering where you were and how Mum is.
I hope you've scored some great doctors who can take Mum through the extent of the problem, and fill out the picture for you all about treatment options and implications.
Mostly it sounds like Mum's in the driver's seat, right where she should be.
I know it's a stretch sometimes, but don't forget yourself in all of this.
Thinking of you love.If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

hello all undergarments & marsupial-arses.
aside from a bad case of hay-fever, all is ok health wise in beagledom.
off to our happy place (sorry for the plagiarism, myhappyplace!) today when evetnaully hubby feeds all fucking sheep & finishes all fucking jobs.
sorta emphasises my own feelings of worthlessness which is building rapidly.
i would like to go back to work again, just not here.
my best friend (whom i ride with) may well be leaving here more & more by the end of the year so i am getting itchy feet.
if i can just hold off til after seeding. blasted rain which never comes.
been thinking about what it'd be like to move to another state & strangely i'm not against it.
on a note : i've made a macrame owl (pink - shudder) & own a Kambrook steam mop.
so i'll be back on Friday & hopefully post more on the weekend (oh my! to have an actual conversation might be a treat!!) & thence after.
happy birthday to missy & someone else who had a birthday here......

Beags, I was just thinking of you this morning and almost rang, but don't want to be too pushy. Is your happy place the property you told me about? It sounds lovely and so different from the daily workings of the farm. We've had a bit of rain, but nothing of any consequence. With the cooler weather the little bird has begun moulting again. She's been very sweet since I broke my little toe and have been confined to indoor activities, micro-organising all my drawers and cupboards. Nothing she enjoys more than investigating and chewing everything. Don't forget to call or email me if you want to chat...and you've to stop feeling worthless. Hear me? You're a beautiful, intelligent and amazing woman.
Thanks, Bridge, I haven't forgotten that I need "me time," and seem to be balancing things very well. Mother doesn't like or want a lot of fuss, so I'm happy to let her call the shots. She has excellent doctors and has asked all the right questions and been given straight answers. She'll decide what's best for her and I have every confidence that she's sound in mind and will consider every angle. It's not easy watching her make these decisions, but the greatest gift I can give her now is to respect her wishes, and help out with appointments when she asks. Her independence is so important to her.
G-ster, I'm not being too kind, just telling it how it is.:h Mish :h

Hiya Reg!
Japanese culture and people are terrific, especially the chick's. Am tossing up whether to fork out me hard earned on a monthly online subscription to either Iranian singles connection, mexican cupid, turkish singles, or japan cupid. Erring on the side of the Japanese, though Broady barbie cupid.com is still an outside chance. Now i'm getting silly.
Have a great day on the bay tomorrow. I think the weather might be improving next few day's.

I spoke to your Mum today and we both agree you've been out too late all holidays and you need a couple of early ones.
We also talked about ..... the other thing.....and I put Mum onto an ointment that might help....If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Hiya Shazza! Hope you're well. Good to see you.
And so, it is with a happy but knackered disposition i retire, not expecting tuckage, or sweet dreams, just a little vegemite sandwich, as i notice Demitri and Bruno pulling up on horseback at a french tavern in the 1780's on an SBS movie that's just come on, so there might be chicks.
Sweet dreams to you all, treasure's.
L8tr, Yo!
