What's your point?
Only prob with purple dresses, you can't resist em. Bring em home, hang em up, realise you've bought pretty much the same one over again.
My fav was dropped bodice waist, gold mandala on tie dye, v.floaty skirt, flared sleeves.
Wicked. Dog I wish I could fit back into it.

A marvellous day here. A nice easy long run had. Showered, purple collars starched, and ready for action! Maaaagnificent.

Good morning Undies!!
I couldn't post yesterday - had a bit of a sad day with a friend dying in the early morning. I didn't know him all that well on a personal level any more (although we had quite a bit to do with each other in the late 70s) but he was someone I had a huge amount of respect for. Very active on social justice issues, and one of those people who truly walked the talk.
Anyway, I got to laugh at the purple posts all over again this morning, and pulled out my favourite purple velvet top only to discover that it is still a size too small, so I had better get cracking on the diet and exercise thing in case the undies ever have a purple haze re-union :H:H
I didn't go to the dawn service, but hope that all who did enjoyed (?) them.Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Morning Missy, Underooter's, and International acts,
Vale the fellow who passed away Missy. Why not walk the talk. Life is far too short not to, and/or to live in fear. Cause in the end, no-one gives a stuff whether my purple shirt is ironed or not, it's about my actions, and WHAT i do.
A very foggy morning here earlier. Have a great day folks, and a reflective one.
Lest we forget.

Can't believe it...I'm not long out of bed !!!! Not like me at all these days.
I can't believe they still won't let you live down the grass skirt incident Tabbers.
Now.
What is TPI ?
What is Vale ?
Really sorry to hear about your mate Missy. Some people are always close to us even if we don't see them for ages.If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

TPI - I wondered about this too, but in the context of TF's post, sounded like a disability of some sort??
"Vale" I have always wondered about myself as well. Being a good catholic girl, I grew up with phrases like "vale of tears" ......... I always thought it was ye olde English or Welsh , (or maybe just Anglican :H) for "valley". However, I have heard it used more and more recently as meaning a sort of farewell, and I just googled it and found it is the root of the word "valediction".
Moral of the story???? MWO is good source of education on all counts!
Now on another note ...... your very generous government has given you another holiday tomorrow, while ours has told us that we should be grateful to be get back to work, because it is really efficient to celebrate Easter Monday and Anzac Day on the same day because we will improve our national productivity! So Reg, I have sympathy with your views (the ones that should not be expressed on MWO :H:H) but when you are enjoying your lie-in tomorrow, remember us in the low-wage economy across the Tasman that will be toiling to catch up with your GDP per capita!!! (To add insult to injury - while us kiwi workers have to go back to work, staff at the Australian and UK High Commissions and the US Embassy get an extra day off :H:H)Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Arvo all
TPI = Totally and Permanently Incapacitated. Lot of Viet Vets fall into this category. They're basically fusked. I love em to death.
Vale from Latin (pr.' vah-lay') = Farewell. Used to say goodbye to people who have died but fusk, what would I know? I left school at Year 10.
Had a top day. Took the Vets to the service then came home and picked clean my olive tree. It's the first time I've had enough olives to actually contemplate pickling them. It was like a sheltered workshop, I tell yers, putting two cuts into each and every olive before submerging the little buggers in a 10:1 water and salt brine solution.
