Just got home - had a very nice night catching up with a few people, and won an auction for $8 (prize: get to be called Mistress of the Universe for the next 24 hours )

And yes, drink people are boring. Just poured myself a nice cup of dilmah!!

It only costs $8 to be called Mistress of the Universe for 24 hours? Now that is a bargain!!

I don't get the Motu thing but I am fairly dense.

Hope all across the pond and over the continents and on the other side of the world have a good night's rest. (Geez, such a long trip, after all.)

You know, it used to be a world wide change and on the same day.

No longer. Us in the USA (except for a few hardy folk in states that say "heck no.") all "sprang" forward a couple of weeks ago.

You underoos are just now "falling" back.

All this is to make us programmers, database people, computer geeks work really hard to figure out what the heck the time is wherever we are.

Sigh.

The year 10,000 is going to be hell, btw.

Reggie - I take it you don't recommend the above establishment LOL. Have you ever tried The Station Hotel in Footscray? I once had a great lunch there - and we all know about the famous Footscray local wild mushrooms ....

I thought I would check in as I have been AWOL for a while and the army thread goes so quick that I would probably get lost!!!

I get the keys to my new (old) house next week!!!! and I am excited but scared until we sell ours!!!
