Bridge, I have to hope that the majority of cruelty is caused by ignorance not sadism. You can educate the ignorant I dont know how you would change the other, I wish I was clever enough to know.

TF the news has sucky things every day. Saw that and did the fast flick so the kids couldnt. Is that bad parenting? I want to shield them from all the crap I can while I can. Hell, I want to shield me from all the crap I can while I can.

They did run another story about the animals from the floods etc, at RSPCA being cared for in the interim by women in the prison here in Brisbane. I dont think good news/bad news stories outweigh each other. They are just there. Is ignorance bliss?

Maybe it's only 'good' to hear if it confronts us & gets us off our clackers, and galvanises us into action to find a solution ????
