I'm having a hard time at the moment guys. It is stuff that is really about Mr B and his ex- so I dont like talking about it on here, but it is getting me down. Having just got ourselves out of debt, he has just agreed to take on some debt that she incurred 5 years after they seperated. I can understand why (making sure his kids are fed and clothed and educated is a pretty high priority!!) but it still pisses me off. And yet another Family Court case coming up. I'm really really hoping that this one will result in his boy coming to live with us from next year.

Anyway, I continue to try to live by Mr G's mantra of cultivating an attitude of gratitude, but some days it is harder than others.

My wee Betty-puss just came and gave me a cuddle. That was nice.

I used to never be able to cry unless I was pissed. I think I'm about to learn.

Oh Missy, so sorry to hear that. It must feel like one step forward and two steps back. I can totally understand you feeling pissed off. You must wonder "when will it end". I really hope that MrB understands and appreciates what a remarkable woman you are.

Thanks TF. He is a pretty remarkable bloke himself (for a bloke :H), and yes we will get there! Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger and all of that.

In the mean time, the thought of feeling like crying without being pissed is evoking some strange and contradictory emotions, one of which is feeling really happy that I am able to do this again.

Anyway Bridge, I too want to hear your plan now that your hands are out from under your bum and ready to do whatever they need to do!!

Ah Missy, it's hard to walk in on debt that you had nothing to do with.

Mr B is obviously a thoroughly decent man. Unfortunately they are the ones who get taken advantage of sometimes.
Sobbage happens frequently in recovery I find

Now as to the master plan, this was being discussed at length in the Jones house last night, well past bedtime as it happens.

I've organised to volunteer at the RSPCA, and a group for the Million Paws Walk next month state wide in NSW. I've also looked into fostering animals for them. But I can't help but think that there's more I can do, like on a larger scale.
All suggestions welcome.

Family Court stuff sucks, I'm trying to help my bro' though some of that right now - incredibly stressful & I attribute some of it to my downfall last week (and many other times over the last month or two)

Herbies spices looks incredible! There's a few spice shops near me too, and just to walk past them is ace mate.

Sorry to hear of the embuggerances Missy. Crying sober, or as Cakes perfectly put it, 'sober sobbage' is also ace. I am better able to handle such thing's, and not do damage to myself, by not drinking. I know that can be easy to say, but it is the truth. We also will use any excuse to trash ourselves. (Said with respect, and i'm not inferring you will do that)

Morning all, just back from yoga and checking in before work, house is so quiet with locusts buzzin. You make me laugh Angel :H

Missy, gotta agree with G-bloke and all before, sobre sobbage rocks. Had a really weird experience with same last week, I havent talked about coz it was - well weird. Saw my yoga teacher for some herbs and she practices ayurdevic medicine - dont think ive spelt it right anyway, breathing, laying of hands, bawling my eyes out stuff. But my back pain has disappeared. I am not saying anymore, just typing this out. Comments?

Bridge good luck with your causes, there are huge problems in that area that need to be addressed. I am thinking of ideas, and i keep coming back to the conversation of the other day, in a round about way. Education vs ignorance or something like, anyway still thinking...
