Yep, sort of. Our ranges are to the east, but a lot closer than Sydney's Blue mountains. The Dandenongs are, er...appx. 30 ish k's east of Melbourne? Not far at all, probably 30/45 min's on the freeway.

There were some serious fires through there just before the recent ones here though, with lot's of properties having been built right in the middle of thick forest.

Blue Mountains are absolutely stunning, but quite a lot more X-ey.
Had a quick squizz at real estate prices round Melbourne today......excellent value in Vic.If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?
