                    Well, i'm still in the game, and it wasn't that long ago that, well, only last sunday a large, fairly hairy woman, looking to be in her 50's was hovering near the stage making eyes at me. Forgive the stereotype, but she was a big, bawdy, Lebanese mumma out for some action! No stories to tell, except to say we ended up having a lovely conversation around the expresso machine about Moulin Rouge and our memories of the magnificent La Pigale area in Paris.

                        Well Visible Panty Lines.......

                        I must away to rest my weary carcass and dream dreams of mud brick eco houses (open fire, outdoor clay oven, internal atrium, summer shower open to the stars, glass roofed observatory room, tower) nestled in 5 acres of pristine fire retardant bushland.....with visions of topless musos.............

                            Nice post mate. In many way's. Reflective, romantic i think, and telling, as in a bit of background on your relationship with her indoors. It sounds like you both at least acknowledge this, and agree to keep it together and carry on for the family aspect? Pretty courageous stuff Reg, from both of you. Mate, just remember, you've got many, many years left on this planet yet to really kick arse and experience other relationships, and do lot's of things you want to do, if that's what you want. I imagine you guy's are at least keeping things together as best you can till your young one grows up? Your daughter will be benefiting hugely, i'm guessing from your fathering, and having a stable family unit around her, as shaky as it may've been behind the scenes at times.

                            I'm starting to dribble thinking of roofless, open shower's and fresh crumpi in the mornings!

                              Isn't it amazing the situations that we find ourselves in Veg ?

                              Some people have the ability (or luck) to plan out their life from an early age, stick to the master plan, and have it all look just right. I say 'look' because often times that's all it is.
                              For the rest of us, at times we look around us and think WTF ?

                              No two ways about it, you are an outstanding father, Ken. Outstanding. I certainly wish my boy had that. That's the part that Regina will remember.

                              I reckon you'll move on and find someone just right for you one day. And no doubt that person will respect you even more for the responsible and unselfish decisions that you've made for the girl. In the mean time, from a person who's not in the ideal situation either, you have quantum respect. :l
