Morning undies!

The last four days have been complete crap. However, I am putting it behind me and determined to feel a bit more positive about things today. Looking forward to the weekend - Mr B's boy here from tomorrow until Easter, and I have my favourite ex-sister in law coming from Melbourne to see Mum - plus her son and his partner from Sydney, and we all suspect that the trip is for them to tell Mum that they are getting married.

In need of some peace and quiet today, so I'm staying at home to work and re-combobulate myself!

Meant to say re social causes - Bridge your comments struck a big chord with me and I have made the decision to throw myself into a project that I've sort of being hanging round the edges of, involving the development of some new community facilities for homeless women. I feel like it is something I can get my teeth into and is desperately needed here.

Morning underoos! Hear that?? Its called peace and quiet. Early training session for little locust and dropped all in to save cartage. So just me, the felines and dog.

Far out ! That sounds fantastic !

I can't help but think being involved in this stuff will help keep us on the straight and narrow as a nice side effect. Apart from the real need that's out there of course.

Beags, I'm with you on the move to another state.
I was watching landline ??? on the WA drought and farming. It'd be enough to do your head in completely. I can trully understand the need to move along.

That is great Missy. Choosing something that is close to your heart and that you are passionate about is a good start. I think its a win win all round, like Bridge says.

Morning All,

I've finally emerged from the pile of washing. Unfortunately, I'm feeling like shit this morning. I had coffee with a couple of friends yesterday and one of them was really sharp with me. He e-mailed later to say that he was getting grief from one of his children and it was over something I said. He knows I said it as a joke but his son has taken it literally and it's caused a lot of upset in his family. He's asked me not to make jokes along those lines again. I did e-mail back to say sorry and that no upset was intended.

I really love this family and I am really pissed off at myself for causing trouble. My husband says it's not my fault and it's down to them to deal with how their children perceive things. Luckily, now this is out in the open and after a few days apart, I know everything will be fine.

This morning my eyes are so baggy from crying that I don't want to go out. I have cancelled my gym session but I have lots more things to do today, so on with the make-up.

Sorry for whining, guys, but this is hurting.
