Well, my dad died when i was a young fella, he was very young too, and yep, know and then i think it would've been cool to get to know him 'man to man' i.e. when i'd grown up a bit, but wasn't to be. I have memories though, of him coaching local footy, and taking me along as a little tacker......

Mr G, thats so sad about you and your dad. I see my boys and their dad and its cool they stir the shitters out of each other and even though sometimes its cringe worthy its beautiful. I hope that never goes.

Reg you are a very wonderful man and a good son and dad. My boys are making the change from being mummys boys to more and more wanting one on one time with their dad. Lucky we share the parenting and respect the ebb and flow of children. But its sad too for me. Please dont delete your post. Its heartfelt and special. xx hope that makes sense

Wow! More lovely posts to wake up to and more food for thought. Undies rock! Oh, and I suppose even a pesky striped ovary has the occasional good thing to say.

Speaking of ovaries, I noted on the Last Shout Out thread, that our mate Techie was coming up to his 1 year AF and calculate that today's the day. Not much point in starting a Love Thread if he's gone AWOL, is there? Last seen hitting birdies on the golf course, he's prolly off bungee jumping or abseiling or doing something equally irresponsible to celebrate his early retirement.
