Underoos and other possom bottoms - April 2011

Morning Tawny and all to come. A special big :l for Reggie.

I'd been noting Sarge's absence, but as I've been a bit useless on the exercise front over the last couple of weeks, I haven't searched him out. Hope he is okay - I miss him!!

Lovely posts about dad's. Mine was a complete honey, and I didn't have enough of a relationship with him until the last few years of his life. I have a photo of me sitting on his lap when I was about 5 that I really cherish.

And particularly poignant today as Mr B's son's visit was supposed to start yesterday, but his ex cancelled it unilaterally on Thursday night and has sent him to Auckland instead.

My sister in law is here from Melbourne and it is dreadful weather for her. My nephew is supposed to fly down from Auckland today, but the airport is fogged. Where is the famous wellington wind when you need it???!!

How lovely is it to wake up, make a big steaming cup of tea and read such lovely posts ?

It's funny, I have complete conversations with various Undies 'out here' in the real world.

Anyone for left over arancini balls for breaky ? :H

        Hello folks,

Missing Sarge? Me too! Well I had an excellent time at the Masters last week. Spent some time with former clients. The golf was wonderful. I left late on Sunday night and headed to the Florida Keys. I lived for four days totally off the grid. No phone, no newspaper, and sadly, no frog. I am tan, fit and eager to get back to work as a consultant. My last week consisted of all types of seafood. I'm heading out very soon to tackle a bone-in rib eye that is calling me. Love you all....John

        More to follow...:h

Morning all undies, it is not so hot weather wise here, rain and overcast. But I have this fantastic feeling of energy and good things to happen and I dont know where its coming from and I am not asking either. Like Christmas.

                          Evening folk's,

Thank's Mish. I look forward to the day.

Was just reading up a bit on our Cliffy Young. He reckons when he was diagnosed with arthritis in his 50's, the doc's told him to take it easy. Cliff thought bugger that, i'll run it out. And he did. No more arthritis he reckons. He compared our joints to rusty old engines. Ya gotta move it. He runs 20k's every day. Cool.

I remember he had a younger bride years ago amid the haze of publicity? Wonder if Cliff's got a partner. He's also been a vegetarian for years. Tawny, do you ever bump into him? I think he's up around the Ottway ranges anyway.

                          A marvellous night to all.

Thank's Reggie. Those words have made my night.

Yep, spreading music and hopefully not too many rash's is what it's all about for me. The day gig, and other pedestrian activities are just asides to the real game. New album out later this year, and making music all the time. Got a few on the go, just got to finish them, then will do the mini launch. I don't have time for my day job, but will cut it back by end of year most likely if not before. :thanks: :welcome:

                              Morning all,

with all these changes of avatars going on I wasn't sure I was on the right thread there for a minute!! But then I saw TF's normal visage and I breathed a sigh of relief.

Got up early and made a batch of dough that is soon to become hot cross buns. I love the smell of dough rising. The house has a peaceful feel about it this morning - wet outside, dough rising, cats curled up in front of the heater Mr B trawling the internet for obscure pieces of music,

Went to the Asian night markets last night (they are new here) and bought a few things that I cant identify, but which I'll try in a curry later today. I got this really interesting fruit thing which smells citrusy, but which has a very knobby skin. Anyone have any clues what it might be?????? (The woman I bought it from didn't speak English, but told me it was good in gin and tonic!!! Yeah, right - as if that's gonna happen!!!! :H)
