Hey Guys - I just saw Sheepy is in the building!!!!!!!! She posted in Subs and I rooly hope she comes in to say g'day. For HP and anyone who doesn't know Sheepy ... she's a LA girl but has lived in Oz and NZ and "gets us". In fact, I believe it was Sheepy who gave us the "Underoo" moniker.

Where the fusk has she been for the past nine months? Sheepy? Care to 'laborate? Have you got a note from yer mum? How is Mr. Gack? So many questions ... such little time ...

Happy, I reckon a disgruntled 'customer' should call anonymously about the drunk waiter.
He could cause an accident in the workplace, hurt himself or someone else. It's just not on.
Imagine if he dropped hot coffee on a baby or something ?

I wouldn't even impart this to the locust. He doesn't have to lie about something he doesn't know about.

Had a good and productive day, despite (or actually probably because of!) the bad weather! Knocked off two presentations and did 5km at the gym. Have to do one of the presentation in the morning, so it will be an early night for me to make sure the brain cells are firing a cross all synapses!

Hello there Undies!

Have got limited innernet access for a bit

just been reading back some of the stuff. I have a Kaffir lime, a Tahitian Lime and an Aussie Finger lime, as well as 2 Lemon myrtle... all used for my Asian cooking, So any time you want some, I can whizz it to you.

Did my Advanced Scuba course last weekend. YAY!! Passed . YAY!! Now Techie and I can have some fun at 25 metres when he comes here...........

BUT.................. while I was doing the course, the bloody dogs I'm minding went out of my house, played in the mud and then pawed my new dining room chairs.............. Mr. Rags and me understandably pissed off with them. Had to ask Mr Rags to try to clean them (they're upholstered) , as I am now back in Sinny with them.
Took 'em for a walk this arvo to nearby park........... had to do the pick up droppings in plastic bag thing............. turn my head and one of 'em is trying to get into the bag to eat the shit........... Now I know why I prefer cats! Who in their right mind would willingly walk behinnd an animal picking up its shit???? Well, OK ,poor farmers and horses springs to mind....

Going to take myself to the Easter Show tomorrow. More fun if you're with someone, but I don't know anyone. Any Undies up forrit?
Will take some piccies to put up on Undies when I get back home on Friday. Promise not to buy any showbags.


Don't think I'll go down the track of parent /Rags relationships in this post.

Missy, Bridge, I've sort of started the fitness thing a bit but will be in full swing over Easter. Then Palau on 8th. May............... hmmm it will be interesting if I can get innernet while I'm over there.

Dilemma....My eldest boy works part time for a restaurant i do work for which has two partners. When I picked him up yesterday he was a little quiet and wanted to talk about how one of these guys was pissed during service, stumbling into tables and the like. We chatted about it and he is ok. My dilemma is do I tell the other partner or not? Thoughts please undies, I am at a loss? or maybe just need to be pointed in the right direction?

That's a toughie. Any idea of likely reaction/consequences if you do mention it?
If it was that bad, maybe other customers may have complained. If he was that bad, it isn't doing the restaurant reputation any good, so maybe you could work that angle, plus OH&S.... possibility of spilling hot pasta etc on a customer....
Is this the first time? An isolated case?
And worst scene scenario, are you and your son prepared to be asked to no longer work for them?
However, if I was an employer, I'd want to know if my front of house waiter was sozzled, and get him/her away from the customers.

Thank you all, I do so love my beloved Undies! Lots of things to think of and there have been a couple of new devlopements which will mean it will be out of my hands. Keep you posted.

HP, I caught the first episode of that show the other night. The woman playing Ita is hot!

The bloke playing Kerry Packer has a remarkable resemblance. As to the quality of the script, no idea, i had the sound orf, but first episode looked fairly action packed. Interesting bit of recent Strayan press history anyway.

Good Morning,

I haven't really kept up with you all this month, so I've lost the plot of the conderversation. This is prolly how visitors to the Underoos feel. In other words "What the bleep are they all talking about?"

Anyway, just wanted to tell you about the new Indian restuarant we went to last night. Firstly, husband asked if they were licensed. Yes, they said. Hubby orders a beer to which they repsond that they don't serve alcohol. Then we ordered the food. Hubby asked for a couple of things and the waitress told us they don't serve those dishes. (Why were they on the menu then?) Finally we ordered something that was on the menu and waited.....and waited.....and waited. The place was empty except for us and there were lots of sounds coming from the kitchen. (We now think it was a recording of kitchen noise.) 45 mins after ordering, we asked why things were taking so long. It was then the waitress told us that it was the chef's night off. So we left.....hungry.

I've only got the smart meter about 2 months ago. Wish i'd had it 20 years ago.

Have a great day/run at work Bridge, and congratulations on the 6 kilo lossage! That's a lot really, isn't it? No wonder you were chomping at the bit to do some gardening yesty. All i know re weight management is if we put it in, we gotta burn it orf. i.e. just be active in our day with a regular replication of our food gathering ancestry's antic's, which would be to shake that ass daily. Oh yeah, no, or minimal KFC and macca's. Is it that simple though folk's?
