Afternoon all undies and joy germies! Have had the house to myself - with pussies and pooch - since 7 this morning! Can you believe it! So decided to turn day totally around and worked early, didnt make the bed, had eggs at 10 and just went for a run with dorg and got soaked so had a shower. Feel like I'm livin on the edge...Now for some hot noodles.

still beats 8 degrees which is what it is here at the moment!!!! (and there is a viscious wind, that makes it "feel like" 4 degrees according to the Met Office :upset::upset::upset

Missy - really don't want to rub your nose in it but ... at 3.15pm, I'm still in my singlet. Downed tools for the day but the sun is still bright as bright and I'm thoroughly enjoying looking out at the autumn foliage. Will prolly light the pot-belly around 4.30pm and deign to stick on a jumper.

Saucy - you are such a dare-devil.

CDubbya - how are you feeling today? Still strong in your resolve?

I feel the need for red meat so tonight it'll be a small rare filet steak, oyster mushrooms and Crash-hot Potatoes and a baby cos salad. Lurve them little spuddies.

Jealous of your weather

Have made hot choccy and had dorg in. Whilst looking at him I thought I would snip a few of his longer locks off. Three small garbage bags later....call me Edward Scissor Hands but he looks delightfully scruffy. The bigger dreadies are in the bag. Cant wait to see what the family think of my handiwork... I think I cant stop though, so we will persist with another snip tomorrow after I've gotten rid of the RSI

However, I have applied for another job (same specialist industry where I have experience). And I have an appointment with a solicitor next Thursday.

My MWO attendance maybe a little sporadic for a while. I am constantly on the computer looking for e-mails (from my husband?) and going through a routine of e-mail / Facebook / MWO which is becoming a bit obsessive and a bit unhealthy.

I'm just feeling completely upside down at the moment.

Tonight I've decided that I'm going to sleep like my dog sleeps. Not a worry in the world. Nothing can harm me as long as my folk are around. And if I flail my limbs around and fart copiously....so be it.....who's going to hear, see or care ?

morning Grundies!

The rain has finally stopped - thank dog (is the the same dog that Bridge wants to sleep like?)

Still bloody cold though. Guess I'm just going to have to put my big girl's pants on for the next 6 months. :upset: PLan some ways of using winter constructively and all of that. Catching up on a few work things might be a good place to start :H

Right, off to work to do a presentation that I'm under-prepared for. However, I downloaded some cartoons to be part of it, and people will forgive you a lot if you are light on content if you make them laugh!!

I like to exercise more in winter, when I'm less likely to collapse from hyperthermia....usually find it's the most successful time of year to lose weight.

So much for sleeping like a dog....dreamt I was lost in the Victorian floods, didn't know who I was, no possessions, Mergatroid Mazda floated away, nobody came looking for me and homeless folk kept kicking me off their mattresses at Central Station.......


That worked a treat.....I feel a right bloody wreck this morning :upset:
