Underoos and other possom bottoms - April 2011

Hi there folks. Back from Florida via San Francisco. Unfortunately, I lost a former employee to cancer. I spent the past week assisting the family in San Francisco. They're Asian so it took a few days to get all the family members together for the service as some traveled from China.

My days in Florida were terrific. Total decompression. I caught fish and met up with some old friends.

The call about Dave losing his battle did undo me somewhat. Thank dog I was not stressed. I was there for his loved ones. We were very close. Our company did a wonderful thing by picking up much of my expense. Who does that today? However, I'm so happy to be back in the NY/CT area.

Speaking of being back in New York, I'm heading to a GREAT restaurant tonight called Del Posto. In NY on the west side. Froglet I'm taking you to town. Order freely!!!

Cheeses twice, Techie - you gotta learn to share the lurve. You're obviously a rich Yank 'cause all Yanks are (at least that's what they tell us when they're here) so how about you take ALL the Undies? I promise we all have impeccable table manners and come with a naturally hearty appetite.

(The Del Posto menu looks hot!) Glad you were able to be there for Dave's family.

Another ripper day here - absobloodylutely brilliant. Major clean-out of the shed and workshop with chuckage galore. I have no idea why I thought it necessary to keep six dead keyboards; four ancient monitors; two dead cassette players; two microwave ovens; two dead push mowers ...

The back of the ute is full. Now to fill the :h trailer. :h

      Hey - where's the purple-striped Sapphy?

I've just been following weather stuff in Atlanta. Looks pretty grim. My thoughts are with our GA ovaries.

Gosh - I hadn't caught up with that. Thoughts are with our Southern Belles. My brother lives there too, but I couldn't see any mention of the County that he lives in so I will assume that he is safe and sound.

Nah, just busy having a big row with Mr B about his inability to cook vegies, remember not to put the towels in with the other washing and not cleaning the toilet ever!!! :H:H

                All back to normal now!!!

Hope your chuckage all went well Tawny!

Our wee foster kitten (Daisy) has really come out of her shell. A week ago she wouldn't come out from behind the shelves in the bathroom. Over Easter she gradually started coming out for cuddles and sleeping in the basket we had for her. She has now progressed to demanding prime positioning on the bed! She is a lovely wee thing, and we wont be in a hurry to send her back to the SPCA to be adopted!!

anyhoo, I'm going hori. Sweet dreams all undies!!

Okey doke. I just want to say that I really ....really respect your mangement principles.

I noted during a major restructure last year that you busted your arse trying to place some of your trusted team members.
I think you're a real team player bloke mate ! And clearly very supportive of your folk, and I refer to above here.
That's a strong statement about personal politics and standards.:l
Just a tiny word of appreciation, as I do understand.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

I've decided to crash the thread. How is everyone in here doing?
Tawny I like the emotions. Plus I'm still up at almost 11, it feels early but I will regret it when I go to work in the morning.
Miss Behaving, My husband does almost all the cooking. It's mostly because he's the pickiest vegetarian on the planet. No cheese, no eggs, no avos, no tomatoes, no bok Choy, no celery, no eggplant, no mushrooms, and you get the idea I hope. I say why bother, he can cook!

                        Good night to everyone else!

Morning all, had a self imposed ban on undies yesterday so I could get some dreary deadlines done. So all good now and enjoying the quiet before the locusts are up. Strange how putting them on the bus gives me more time yet makes me feel disconnected from them....not sure if I'm ready for that!

Welcome sunshine! and all to come, its one day out from another long weekend here in Briz so better get cracking! Checkin out...
