Underoos and other possom bottoms - April 2011
Arvo Undies,
Yep, HP ... you can be our 'special' little friend.
Declared it POETS day; the Blunnies are off and the Crocs are on. Yay! Time to stick the head in this month's Delicious magazine and ear-mark about 20 recipes and then get around to trying maybe two or three.
Bridge - been meaning to ask - did you give the Ritalin a trial run?
Tonight would be the perfect night to resurrect Shower Night but I s'pose you'll all be glued to the box.
In other news ... my beautiful Golden Orb spider is dead. So sad. Gave me weeks of pleasure, she did.

I used to log on heaps of times throughout the day and check New Posts just in case an Undie had posted. This way I spend a lot less time getting side-tracked into the meds and other threads on which I have no input.
Shower Night was started by Reggie where we used to hang around on a Friday night and have a communal shower. We had soap-on-a-rope and everything! Someone used to have to unclog the drains if Spiro joined us. Used to be a hoot.

I'll lead the "what wedding?" brigade unless anyone else wants to!
We had someone come in to clean our keyboards this arvo - perfect excuse to knock off early! I decided to sit and the sun and read for a couple of hours with some magazines (which I normally dont buy, but felt like something that wasn't work). Bought:- NZ Listener - cover article was "Will Power: the psychology of a Prince"
New Scientist - article on "The Evolutionary Psychology of the Royal Wedding"
NZ Womens Weekly - suggestions for throwing the perfect royal wedding party and "Kate's last minute dress decision" (shock horror)
Thank dog for the Guardian Weekly, where the only article about the wedding was one reporting on a poll that found that the thing that most Brits were looking forward to is another day off!! Good thinking and even I could be a monarchist for a day for another public holiday
I read somewhere that the security arrangements include contingency plans for what happens if she jilts him at the altar - now that is risk management extraordinaire :HNever give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Hey there,
You all post so much, I love it. I just got home from work. I am also addicted to the computer. My husband has his laptop, I have one, and then there's a PC in the room in case one of us needs two.
Bridge, My husband eats potatoes. French fries, mash, chips, whatever as long as there is a potato in it.
TF, I had to look up what a golden orb was. Sorry it died.
HP, Are you watching the wedding? I can't believe what a huge deal it is. A woman was wearing a tiara today for the royal wedding. Sweet.
Ive learned from experience that the greater part of our happiness or misery depends on our dispositions and not on our circumstances. -Martha Washington

Missy & Sunshine and all to come - have to say as the only chick in an all male - inclusive of pets - household, I have buckleys of watching anything but a ten minute window of THE DRESS....love the sound of those mags btw. I agree with Bridge though, if the Chasers cant go I wont go!!
My locusts eat potatoes in any way shape or form. And bread, meat, vegetables, fruit, biscuits, the neighbors, the neighbors pets....had to buy them Hungry Jacks to compensate for shaved heads.

Arvo all,
Welcome Sunshine!
Sean of the dead is a good one to be sure.
Gearing up over here for the big event. I've been staying with Dicki Arbiter and George Michael over at George's. Gave George a bit of a hand with the middle eight of his song for the wedding. A simple change in bar 38 from a C minor to a C major chord did the trick. I've just been with Wil and party. The young bloke's looking fairly relaxed, so i reckon things'll go smoothly from his end. Dicki pulled out a can of spray on hair, which he diligently applied to Wil's bald patch. He looks top's.
