Underoos and other possom bottoms - April 2011

We had someone come in to clean our keyboards this arvo - perfect excuse to knock off early! I decided to sit and the sun and read for a couple of hours with some magazines (which I normally dont buy, but felt like something that wasn't work). Bought:
    • NZ Listener - cover article was "Will Power: the psychology of a Prince"
New Scientist - article on "The Evolutionary Psychology of the Royal Wedding"
NZ Womens Weekly - suggestions for throwing the perfect royal wedding party and "Kate's last minute dress decision" (shock horror)

I read somewhere that the security arrangements include contingency plans for what happens if she jilts him at the altar - now that is risk management extraordinaire :H

    Another New Scientist reader!!!!

I've been getting it since 1975!!

I missed the whole wedding thing.......... I was in a no phone, no tv, no internet place the last 3 days. AND I SPECIFICALLY HAD ASKED MR RAGS TO TAPE THE WEDDING. HE DIDN'T. HE IN SHIT WITH ME. I now have to spen AGES trying to get youtube snippets....

Beautifully gorgeous day here - made up for the crap weather this week.

Started out with a long swim and then planting bulbs (these are the ones that have been ruminating in my vegie crisper for about 6 weeks on advice from TF, Bridge, Rags, Beags and some other gardeners). This is new experiment for me! Have planted ranunculus, freesias, iris and hyacinth. Will let you know about how they have gone in September!

Thought we had lost Daisy (foster kitten) today but I discovered her curled up in the sock drawer :H. Dog knows how she got into it but she is an enterprising wee feline :h

Rags - x-posted!! I have been getting New Scientist since Crick and Watson got me totally engrossed with the double helix in the 1970s.

Maybe we should start a seperate NS thread :H:H

            Hi Missy,

I must stop being in internet and phone free zones. I miss out on too much.

            I love fresias. And rancs.

Pussycats have wonderful and mysterious ways of getting into unlikely places.
Now, back to reading over the last coupla days.

PS You anywhere near Upper Hutt? Been invited to my cousins 80th birthday . Maybe we could meet up.... Maybe I can become the most international Undie meeter of other MWO ers.

Aussie made. All of it. Took the bloke 6 years to build it. Can't think of his name though.

I wouldn't invite many of my relatives either.
                  Christ they're weird.
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

It's a pity Fergie wasn't invited. She could have given us all the party goss ... for a fee.

' would have paid squillions for the priviledge...
