    Hey Army, been in town all day and have sore feet, swollen ankles and empty purse --oh and overfull friggin tummy - but happy!
    Zens, think all that through very carefully if you have to give up American stuff!! Don't know about Scotland but I know Ireland is in shit, and my daughter and her boyfriend are prob going to have to come home from Canada in June or August, and they are in the horrors! I understand about your Mum, really I do, but being realistic, she won't live forever and you have many moons ahead of you - sorry that sounds harsh, but my mum died at 84 and we changed so much in our lives and put stuff on hold because she was old, and then she didn't want to do anything really. D'ya know I'm just about to delete this cos it sounds so awful, but ---feck I won't. It's your life Zennie, so do what you want to do and try and get your mum to fit in with that maybe? Anyway - in a nutshell, do what you want to do, within reason, and remember we only live once:l

      Hey there Molly. Whatcha buy and eat?
      I went to the hospital today to have my cast removed. Before the op they explained that they would have to manipulate the wrist and poss put in some temp wires to keep it straight while it healed. To my horror, when they took the cast off I have a MASSIVE scar on my arm, and the op was actually a plate and 3 pins put into my wrist, which will stay forever. When I asked the doc, he said that sometimes when they open the arm, the injury can be worse than first thought, but you would of thought they would of explained this rather than me having to find out when they took the cast off. Not a happy bunny!

        Pics are on my FB page to those who are friends. Guess the scar will be a constant reminder of what I do to myself while drinking though.

          Bugger Cy, Went to FB and had a look - that is shite!! I have a scar on my face - cut my head open on a pavement in the Canaries, and I nearly like it - it reminds me of ----stuff.
          Are you sore?

          Ok down to details. Bought fabbie bed linen - we bought a HUGE bed before we nearly divorced in Jan, and the bed stuff costs a fortune - got designer stuff reduced from 280 yoyo's to 45 yoyo's and they're gorgeous - this country has gone into freefall, you can buy stuff for nothing in sales.
          Went for a mad posh lunch. pigs head with chili cucumber jelly for starters, and rabbit in all sorts of amazing bits and pieces - ooooh it was gorgeous! Stuffled now - dropped hubs off at the pub and now happy out on the couch!

                Thornton's on the Green, in the Fitzwilliam Hotel. Couldn't get over the amount of people there - and also how many people were drinking wine at 1PM. I think it was there that some 'businessman' ordered chips and was put out!!

                  Just back from the DRs. Staying on the anit-depressants for another couple of months but she is very pleased with me progress. Asked me how the drinking was going and I had great delight to tell her that it's 21 AF months next week.

                  Right Cy, I'll just have a nip over to FB.

                        Xpost Starty - department store on O Connell St. Clerys, - dead oldfashioned in my day, but wow it's amazing now! Haven't been there for about 20 yrs! Huge mad soft bath sheets for 4 euro's, and Samsonite luggage - big HUGE lightweight case, reduced from 289 euros to 120 euros, I was soooooo happy, and then hubs told me he was finished gettin his driving license - so had to move along

                              That's some amount of time JC, wish I hadn't had my 'weak' moments ( like in Jane Austen, the ladies got the vapours - reckon they were just pissed??). Starty, I just dumped my AD's in Jan. really really stupid on paper - but I seem to have cheered up since
