    Good morning all you busy bees. You all are making me tired already!!

    Jan....it's good to hear from you and I hope your headache is better...are you gonna get your eyes checked this week? Try to rest today, sweetie.

    Roger...I got your message too and I am sorry I missed it....I've never been much of a cell phone person and really never get calls....but now that I have friends here, I need to keep it with me. Usually it just stays in my pocketbook. So I will start keeping it in my pocket....Like Jan, I don't want to call you back until I know you are awake...so call me if you want, okay?

    Trucker....please know that you have all of us here to lean on.....I know how hard it is to let the past go...it took me years and years to finally come to terms with my past...but we need to do that in order to live for today. It's supposed to be a beautiful week in our area and I hope you will get outside and maybe go downtown and just observe...I bet there will be lots of tourists out. Hang in there, dear friend.

    I am off to do some tidying up while I can....love to all.

      YES! I know Lewises' whole familyl He could be a real butthead, but SO smart and funny. Loved all of his articles, I suppose because I could relate.
      He had heartsurgery at Emory when Daddy was there. They had the same nurses. He was a wicked wise funnyman.

        welll sorrry im late .. beeen on the phone most of the morning with a few friends and drinking lots of coffee ... who wants to race lol anyway im fine and the wheeels are turning and plan is in motion .. i have one job that needs more more work doone which is good to keep me busy ... so i would just like to say thank you to everyone it really helps me to able to talk with everyone ... love and big hugs

          Okay - here we go - exhausted and it is only 1.00, BUT I have all my roses planted and have redone the little wall in front of them too - no easy feat as that awful crabby grass stuff is what is in front of it. Whew, I am hot. Jan - my phone is playing up - we are due for an upgrade on the 16th - you are the 3rd person to tell me it just went to voice mail and the two others said it wasn't even me on the message! So, sorry - I have no idea what is going on. I am pleased you are as best as you can be. I will try and call you later today - if you are around - I know you go to dinner - what time do you get back usually. Or go - PM me okay?

          Grateful - Hi to you. You will be able to get out in your garden soon, and then, you too, can be as exhausted as I am. LOL I doubt that our hot spell will last but it would be nice if it didn't get really cold again - tomorrow it is supposed to rain and I am getting my motorcycle back (I haven't forgotten RC). Shame - today would have been so nice after hours in the garden to have gone out on it!!

          Rog - you know you can call me anytime! Not sure what I can do to help, but I am always hear to help a fellow journier!! Ruby - glad that you got your shed door fixed at last! How chilly is chilly? Today here is supposed to be nearly 90 again. It must get getting nearly there now. I am going to have a sandwich, then call my mum and then get back out - weed one more area hopefully and get my dahlia corms in. If I can last that long, then that is is for the day!! Then can iron and watch TV !! Or phone people !!

            well I am tired and got to bed so late my kid got home from band trip 11;00 that is very late for me and been working in the garden today and have to study too. T sounds like you have a plan going on..good luck to you....my cat catches baby rabbits too.....she caught a skink this morning and ate it was a big one too....b

              hey gang....did laundry, ironed, went to grocery store AND colored my hair...pretty good day all in all.

              Sun I leave in about 15 minutes and will be home around 9:30......
              I love my family more than alcohol.:h

                Birdy, we had a cat once (well, daughter did) and when I sent daughter under the porch for something that had fallen through, she came out screaming!! There were all kinds of heads and bodies under there that Mowgli had stashed!!!!
                T's is gonna be fine. He just needs a break, and we're working on that. I can keep him busy a YEAR!!
                Sun, hope you used sunscreen. It's hot out there. But I've just been inside most of the day. Went out to look at the porch, carrying Tink, and tripped over a big mound of monkey grass. Hubs was worried about Tink, and her little foot is sore. But yes, we'll both live.
                Have to actually make a meal now, may add a little bit of rat poison to his!! Hims doesn't quite understand when he comes home the world doesn't revolve around him!! :H AND I don't work for him!

                  Ruby - poisoning hubs with rat poison is too obvious - you need to be more subtle. Let me know when and I will bring the Clorox and glad bags. LOL
