Gorgeous day here too. Got lots done (vacuumed TMB, cleaned her eyes (she has Entropian eyes, and have to be cleaned, drops, daily.) Hubs is working hard in the yard, and our new roof looks great. He even cooked dinner, so I've already done the dishes, 3 loads of clothes. (I've BEGGED for a clothesline, Sun!).It only slightly warmer here than there today. Saw Gracie for a little while (kids on Spring Vacation next week), went over to see MIL a little while. I bought a mixed color bouganvilla this week, had Hubs hang it on her porch as a surprise, so of COURSE she thanked him profusely. Go figure!
I'm a bit weary too. Hubs has taken off tomorrow, so we can start in earnest on the yard. SO much I want to do.

Hi all
Had a weird day and went to FL to a state park saw on map but it was not there and all out in the boonies dirt roads along the coast and very empty for miles well we finally just turned back and went to tallahassee stopped at mcdonalds and went home....crazy huh....funny about the squirrell vick....really tired will let the kids on....school starts tomorrow for me...

Roger, I am so very sorry you had a rough day! It is gonna be real hard for you to find time to study if everyone keeps making demands on you! I hope you have record of all the things you have bought in that house. Bird, sorry things went sour on you today, too. I hope tomorrow goes good for you with school. MB, so good to see you post today. I know you are tired from working all the time and now getting your pool and yard ready for summer! Sunni, hang in there, baby. Tuesday is a coming! Ruby, be careful working in your yard. I've had a heating pad on my back all day! We're finally planting the garden in the morning! I think I messed up, got to craving coffee and was out of decaf, so drank a whole pot and feeling like doing something, but Paul is already asleep. Hope everyone has a good night. I love you all! I hope everyone had a good weekend, and a good start to your week. Hubs is doing more 'honey dos' outside. I had forgotten when I made my plan to go to the cabin this week that it's the kid's spring break, so I'll be here till at least the end of the week.
Vick, saw a lovely carved sign in garden magazine 'Deo Patre nostro opere benedicte' -'God our Father, bless our work'.
Hubs is putting up the 'new' shutters to replace the faded ones on the house. I qualify the 'new' because we've had them 4 years, waiting on him to do this. The more we do, the more we find to do. Have to get busy with him, keep him moving and motivated!

Good Morning Ruby - gosh - no-one else has been here today!! That is odd.... We had such an awful storm in the night, Ben managed to get himself wedged under the bed in a drawer - the front came off years ago - but he crawled over picture frames that I have under there, then couldn't get out - it is a weird feeling to hear scratching under you. So at 3.30 a.m. I am trying to get the picture frames out, with him laying on some of them - and trying to get out as I am trying to get them out - poor soul, he was terrified. the storm lasted about an hour at least!!! I ended up leaving the frames out so he could go back under if he wanted.

Anyway, the rain is threatened for all day. Has stopped for now, but will be back......
Wonder where everyone else is?

That must have been the storm that we had in the night Ruby - it just brushed by where I am - we are right at the edge of it. Looks as if the rest of it is going beneath me thank goodness - I think it is anyway!! Hope so.
