    Do you have a new Garmin, Sun? Those things are awesome, and easy to use. I'm thinking of getting one!

      Hi Fen - no, mine is either a year or two old - I just went out and checked it - it IS a Garmin. so I have keyed in the info - and got it so it speaks to me in English - ROTFL instead of American!!!! I have used it a few times and it is really good - so I will see what it is like tomorrow although it is a pretty straightforward run for me really. Do you know I went to get my new car tags today and found out that I haven't been carrying any insurance proof in my car!!!! For heaven only knows how long! I almost died on the spot! I now have my proof of insurance in the car - Hubs has called twice to remind me!! Fen - if you can think of anything that I should be bringing, e-mail me - I will check e-mail before I leave okay?

        Fen, your spring is a fair bit ahead of us, my crocuses (sp?) are not yet flowering.
        Sunshine, I am glad you are well rested, I am jealous.

          Good morning friends. Hill..I'm glad Monday is over also.

          Sunny & Fen...I hope you both have a safe trip and have a great time at your meet up! I am jealous too and can't wait to hear all about it.

          Ruby....how are you and the doggies this morning? I hope the storms went around you.

          Roger....I really enjoyed talking with you on Sunday and I love your plan. I am so proud of you for overcoming all these challenges in your life. You are an inspiration to us all.


          Vicki...I hope you have a safe trip back home today. I can't wait to hear about your daughter's shower. How did your doctor appointment go? Did he give you something for your hands-I hope?

          MB-I hope you got some rest over the weekend...how is your headache?

          Quittin-Great news on your test results!! Glad that you got away for a week.

          Bird....how are you this morning? Are you working again today?

                I was still wide awake at 3:30 AM. Think it was a combination of too much caffeine, adrenaline from watching the storms, and the stress of my drive to the big city. You can take the girl out of the country, but not too often!
                Anyway, I'm all psyched about T's 'to-do' list! Someone who won't be called in to work in the middle of a project! Now, I've got to have a prayer meeting with TMB about him being to skinny to taste good! :H And T, don't feel to bad; she dislikes my own son!
                Can't wait to hear about Fen and Sun's meet! What fun!

                  Hello everyone.....my goodness - I go into hiding and look what has happened. Fennel & Sunshine are meeting up. Is something wrong with Swannie? I am going to have to go back & read about 50 pages of posts to get caught up.
                  Just wanted to say hello to everyone and thanks for all the good thoughts - I have been feeling them. :l

                  Jean - thanks for you call yesterday. I was at work so didn't get my message until later. I'm waiting for pics from today.

                      Rog, I miss talking to you. (I've been AWOL for a while.) You are always such an inspiration to me. I've been trying to get on chat, but since I've been gone, it seems like something has changed and I can't get on. I miss talking to y'all that know me.....you know who you are.

                        Hey Noelle! I remember you. Good to have you back with us.
                        NORA!!! You KNOW you're not allowed to be awol. :H But it's wonderful to see you, and yes, a lot has happened lately, but you're back in the fold now, so that's important.
                        Just had a talk with Rog, the old lady he's working for right now wants everything painted pink in the room he's working on. I said I certainly hope it's not Pepto Bismol pink, and he said unfortunately that was a good description!YUCK! Oh well, her house, not mine.
                        Hubs is NOT having a good day, so will prepare for the worst tonight. Lots of ice cream works wonders.

                              HONEY, I'M HOME!!! I've been reading back since my last post. I'm so relieved everyone survived all the storms. Grateful, how did you find out Swan was in a car accident? I so hope she is okay, bless her heart. Roger, I am so sorry I wasn't there for you, sweetheart. I took my cell phone, but forgot the charger and it went dead before I even got there! Quitting, I am so happy for you about the results of your tests and also, that you were able to get away! RC, what kind of flower is that? I love purple! I didn't see any posts from Trucker. Has anyone other than Roger talked to him? I guess I should call and check on him. I missed all of you so much, but I had a wonderful weekend going to 2 wedding showers for my daughter. They were really nice and she got so many nice things! 4 more weeks to the wedding. I will be so relieved when it is over with. I was not able to have my hand test, because the lady that does it was sick. The doctor says the reason for all my pain is nerves dying in my hands, arthiritus and carpal tunnel. He gave me some new drug to take, of course! We got some really bad news on the way home. Paul has serviced all the Priority banks in MS, which was most all his business. They went with someone else to put in new voice over IP systems, close to a million dollars that they didn't even give Paul the opportunity to bid on, after he has serviced them for over 15 years! It looks like we are going to have to live off my disability of $500 a month. Things are going to get pretty tight for us and of course, Paul is so depressed. He's considering trying to market his hot sauce and salsa. New adventure in our lives. I hate change, but try to roll with it. I hope everyone has a wonderful day! I love and missed each one of you!                                 SOBS- sorry to hear about Paul's business issue. It was most likely politics as it usually is. Hope he can get some new accounts and get things going again. I still have one more followup test and it was ok before so I'm hoping nothing has changed much. I still haven't spoken with my Doc yet (other than the note I got from him) but he's not one to spread false hope so we'll see how it shakes out. However, I'm committing to staying sober as much as possible. Keep the prayers coming - thanks.
