Morning everyone!! I am still having strange sleeping. Will sometimes just go so deeply asleep and then have very strange dreams. Did that last night. Hubby could not even wake me up this morning. Yuck!
Finally up and at work. Still trying to shake off the dreams.

Good morning, my dear family! Roger, will this job ever end or will you be pinked for life? So glad Anthony is able to help you for a couple of days. Too funny about the horns, bless your heart, I know you are SO tired! Thank you for calling to check on me. I love you so much. Sweet Grateful, I miss you. We haven't talked in weeks. Maybe you can call me this weekend. Thank you for your prayers. I know God will open doors for Paul's business. Last night before we ate, he said a prayer for the same thing. It is so great to see him leaning on God instead of turning to the bottle. Maybe this is the reason this all happened. How are YOU doing, sweetheart? Quit, I am praying that your follow up tests will have good results. We are so glad you are posting. Remember to take just one day at the time and lean on us for support. We all love you! I know I don't normally post in this thread-but just had to tell Tony how gruesome that picture is! Poor teddies...I hope Tigger didn't get caught up in that picnic, and that's why we haven't seen him...
I've been having weird dreams, too Nora...you are not alone in that area.
All it's been doing the last couple days here is raining, and I'm starting to get really sick of it!

Oh yay. Hubs is taking a riding more to the cabin for me. Of course, he won't let me use it if I'm up there alone; seems to think I'm accident prone. Can't imagine where that comes from. :H
Quiet here today. Tay is coming tomorrow to clean for me. Haven't seen her in a while. Now that she's 'in love' he takes up most of her time.
Good to see today's posters here. Hope everyone else checks by soon.
Yes we shoot cans, scare squirrels. Having guns in the country is usesul. I worry about copperheads around the dogs and children. BTW, did ya'll see the story about the zoo in NYC that lost their cobra for about a week? That happened at the Atlanta zoo about 30 years ago, and we didn't know till we took daughter's kindergarten class there for the day. Went to the ladies room with a bunch, and the lights were out! Talk about making quick business!! :H



Nora, Fluff, ever since I had the dream someone was chasing me and I dived out of bed, giving myself a concussion, I expect anything. :H And I have a lot of dreams about snakes. Go figure.

I'm here at the Aging Hipster Coffee House, where I can update you all on my meetup with Sun.

First of all, I would like to say that there is no one more lovely than Sun. We had great conversation and a nice walk on a garden trail in Bloomington. The time went too quickly for me.

I highly recommend that any of you visit her if you can. She showered me with treats, a house-warming gift for my shack, a marmite sandwich and a good book...I tell you, the woman has it all going on! On top of that, she moves like a twenty-year old.

We've been debating posting our pic. I guess I'll make the leap...

I so agree with you about Sunny...she is a lovely person...there's just no other word to describe her! It sounds like I'd never be able to keep up with her if she moves like a 20 year old.....I must find out what kind of vitamins she takes!!!

Fluff...you must live near me...it has been raining and dreary for days it seems...I guess Monday was nice....but we've had too many icky days.....I need sunshine!!

Rescue Goose...

Unfortunately, Sun brought along her rescue goose, "Sven". She is fostering him until he can find his "forever" home. He is too vicious to be left alone with the dogs, hence his presence yesterday.
I have never had the displeasure of meeting a more ill-tempered beast in my life! The vile creature hissed at me and snapped at the back of my head for the duration of the drive to the park. I had to smack him back with the "Lovingkindness" book that Sun was so kind to give me!

Here is a picture of the little monster taking one of his many bathroom breaks...



He wouldn't tolerate a collar and leash, so he had to remain in the car most of the time. Sun lined the interior of her vehicle with plastic bin bags, as he is not house-broken. Perhaps with a little home training, he will be a suitable pet for some masochistic...ummm, patient individual. I don't think he'd do well around children or small domestic animals. Oh my gosh! A GOOSE!? They are MEAN!!!!! I had a friend who was attacked by a flock of them, and she said she thought they were going to kill her once they got her on the ground.
Poor Fen, having to ride with him. :H That's hysterical!!!!!!!!!! Glad you got all the hugs. Hope to meet you both one day too. I have to pick on Sun, though. But SHE STARTED IT!

Oh - I did laugh when I read all that! I have just come in from mowing - can't really call it grass - it is pretty yellow dandelions, pretty purple flowers, little violets, some awful green weed, daisies, and some little green stalks that I think are grass - to Hubs chagrin, I won't use weed killer. ANYWAY - I loved the pic Fen posted!!!! Fen - I wasn't going to mention the goose!! Fluff - did you see I gave Fen a MARMITE sandwich?? LOL Ruby - in the cartoon pic of the two of us you have the hair colour wrong - I am the skinny one! fen is skinnier than me though! Actually that isn't true - we are both SLIM. And Ruby - you are just jealous 'cos you don't move like a 20 year old!! And I don't too start it! You ARE older than me.

We did have a really good time - Fen makes me laugh and is so good at spotting wildlife - we saw groundhogs on our walk - just yards from us! It was such a good day - and if she wants to, she really can post a pic of us.

Need to go and tidy up outside - put the lawn mower away, and then feed the dogs,
