    so glad to hear everyone is ok .... now if this rain would stop i can get more done and truck tune up and a few other things ... but we do need the rain anyway ... so ill look at it in a positive way ... love and big hugs

      Hi folks - glad to hear that everyone is ok. Scary times.

      How's your Mom feeling Fennel? How are YOU feeling?

      Got hubby off to the airport this morning. Then he called me that they had to go back to the gate. Something wrong with one of the computers. Looks like he has finally landed now though so waiting to hear from him.

        Eldest daughter just called and is coming over with my 2 Grands, plus she has an extra one, even younger than the 18 month old - Hubs just told me has has to leave early today ROTFL. Bless his little cotton socks. Anyway R will be here for an hour or two - Ben will hide in a corner somewhere. We really DO love our grands - REALLY!

          I am home from Dad's.....he pet scan shows the tumor is shrinking rapidly so REALLY happy about that...
          got lots to do....will check in later....glad everyone sounds safe and sound
          Sunni..no beating of small children will be tolerated!!

              Hey, everybody! I haven't had a chance to read back yet, just wanted to check in and tell you I was okay. We had so many tornado touchdowns last night, miles from where ALL my family lives! We even had the tornado chasers in town that videotaped this. Don't know how many fatalilities yet.                   Well, I read back about 10 pages and I'm sorry I didn't check in to let everyone know I was okay sooner. Grateful, I barely remember talking with you last night, I was sound asleep when you called at 8:30! The last few days I have been a walking zombie! The doctor put me on that new medicine for the pain in my hands and honestly, when I take it at night, I am deep asleep within the hour! And then dragging around all day trying to do what I have to do in zombie land! I guess I'll stop taking them. I can't stand the feeling of being drugged up.
                  Sunni and Grateful, so sorry you got gloomy weather today. We have beasutiful sunshine! Paul and I picked (3) 5 gallon buckets of kale this morning and I have been putting them up, wish you were all closer, so I could share. I'm gonna be saying that ALOT this summer! :H Ruby, I am so happy you made it to the cabin and didn't have any tornado touchdowns in your area. MB, that is wonderful news about your Dad! Is he weak from the chemo? I'm still praying for him. Roger, I am praying for Sue. Please give us more details. Sorry you're getting rained on your much needed day off.                     I didnt know wether i should pop back or not and i havent read back over any replies you might have written,i feel like iam intruding by coming here .
                    I am unable to see Not Quite a Swan due to my work commitments and distance ,but i have phoned and am led to believe she is doing well and should be home in a couple of weeks.

                        Clair - I hope you check enough to know that we are reading and answering - please give our love to Swannie and let her know that we are thinking of her - trust us - YOU ARE NOT INTRUDING. We really appreciate your letting us know.

                        Vicki - you do keep busy don't you!! What do you do with the kale - how do you put it up? I do wish I was nearer - I would have had some!! I kept busy today - I went though all my CD's, books and DVD's and tidied, sorted and cleared out! Also did a few cupboards too! Now I am off to bed.

                        My last day off tomorrow. :upset::upset::upset:

                          thank you claire you are a true friend to come here and let us know ... and please even any small details of how she is doing... come here and let us know and dont feel that you are intruding in anyway you are her friend and now ours so thankx and let her know that we are all praying for her and a fast recovery ...
                          vicky so glad you made it thur the storms ... but dont you even think of painting anything pink ... and you have better taste then just pink and how to make things blend together ... and mama so glad to hear your dad is doinmg well .. see everything is looking up and even i was able to get a few things done today working around the rain but hey got alittle wet and it wasnt that bad ... and sunshine baby loved the way you looked on that bike .. nora always great hearing from you and well everyone hope all are doing their best ..stay strong and shifting forward and thinking positive and sending big hugs to one and all

                            Morning everyone. Would you believe it is a winter wonderland here again? I rained steady all day yesterday, and overnight, snow. WTF Oh, well, mother nature is the boss.

                            Had a great day with the kids yesterday, until my wife had a little melt down. It is frustrating. The only good thing is that I was not drinking, so I didn't react stupidly. In addition, I didin't use it for fuel, to allow myself to get bombed (my old M.O ). After a few hours she cooled down. I just wish she could remove herself if she is tired or cranky. If the pot of milk is about to boil, take it off the stove. C'est la vie.

                              There was a big fat possum out in the yard a minute ago. I hope she wasnt in my garden, looked pregnant....Claire thank you for updating us on Swannie we are all concerned and send best wishs. Vick glad you made it through the storms....had the most wonderful day yesterday with my kids at the spring fest and then pick one up from bfs later and stand around outside talking to his mom it was a nice night. Well I have tons of homework..later ...b

                                My in-laws had some nearby too. Fortunately everyone's ok. BTW day 4 today! Feeling good, feeling clean.
