The Journey begins here...So Get your ass in gear for april
Morning everyone- Happy Tuesday!
Vicki- I have a 14 year old daughter and a 16 year old son- boy they grow up so fast-
I started reading "Kick The Drink...Easily"-by Jason Vale -very much like Allen Carr's book-
it's pretty good-although I admit ,even though he says read the whole book ,constantly, I just skipped to the end-to get to what his main points of quitting were -fear of never drinking again will keep you trapped in the vicioous cycle of repeated quitting...
Anyway- feeling great with my coffee- no hangover-but had major crazy dreams-
My son's tennis team won- yay-he's such a fantastic player- all those years of tennis lessons ( since he was 7) really paid off...tennis is not a cheap sport, either...
Fennel- Hope your mom has a speedy recovery...
Hi Hillside, Tirgs, Sunshine, Cinders, RC, Mama, Nora,Grateful, Ruby,Bird-and anyone else who jumps in here
Going to get coffee- have a great day! It's always YOUR choice!

Good morning friends! I'm with you guys on the coffee..on my 2nd cup!
Oh, Fluff-teenagers.....yep-I have one teenager left-a 17 yo son, my baby. My daughter is 30 and my middle son is 27 and yes-they do grow fast! Congrats to your son's team for winning!
Fen-I'm so happy to hear that your Mom's surgery went well. I'm still praying for both of you.....
Cinders-it's really great to see you here and I've seen your posts that you are doing great on your AF journey. Isn't it wonderful to be AF-especially this time of year when Spring is a chance for renewal?
I hope you'll stay with us....I love reading your posts!
Roger-I'm glad that Sue will be staying in the hospital...I'm sure she's not too happy but it's necessary so the doctors can figure out what is going on. I hope you have a great pink day....
Sunny-I bet your employees really missed you! Enjoy today.....maybe you can go for a bike ride? Or do you have that rain that is heading our way (again!).....
Hi, RC, IAD, Hill, Buffy, Biz (he's in Brigantine right now on Spring Break), Vicki, Jan, RUBY (we miss you!), Bird, Nora.....all my great friends - and have a great day!
Love to all!Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God.

Golly, look at all of you here already....I missed having my 9 or 10 hours sleep now I am back to work - we are having a storm and Ben said it was time to be up and comfort him. Bless him. Now he is curled up next me....ASLEEP !! Anyway, just made a cuppa and here I am. I guess that answers your questions Grateful re the rain? I have errands to run today and am calling the vet at 8.00 to see if I can get Maggie in too, so got lots to do.
Oh Rog - I so envy you....THE PINK LADY !! You lucky ducky! We are all green with envy. Still, we can't all be as lucky as you. :H:H Good morning Hill and Bird - great morning isn't it? Are you going in to work today Bird? Or sciving off again? Hey there Fluffy - I will have to check out Jason Vales book and see how it is different to Alan Carrs....so nice to have you here. I have 2 daughters - 27 and 25, both live near me which is great.
RC, Fen Nora, Vicki, Ruby, Tony, Buffy - everyone else, have a wonderful day - hugs to you all, Fen - hope your mum feels good today - well, as good as can be expected after yesterday!!

Hi All,
Fluff, I have a 16 yr old son that used to play tennis....he was good too! We thought he would get a scholarship to college. I can relate to how expensive it is....then he decided to play golf....ahhhhhh, he is good at that too. There goes our retirement. I do love it though. It is so much fun to watch and hope that they get their dreams fulfilled. Mine wants to get on the tour. I pray for angels to guide the balls into the hole.

I just read on the google machine()-that Jason Vales had worked with Allen Carr- no wonder their books are similar!
Hey, Buffy we cross-posted- yes, tennis is expensive and so is golf! My son plays golf. too but not as much as tennis...it would be nice if he could get a scholarship for that...It is fun to see them doing what they love and engaging in a sport that they can use as an adult, too. It's always YOUR choice!

OMG - I wonder if he used Carrs ideas then but put them into his own words? Carr died some time ago...... I should dig out my Carr book and see if Vale is at the beginning or anywhere as an anything in it. Goodness!!
Morning Buffy! Hope all is going well? Still raining here.....

Well, the writing is very similar- and they both say you can drink while you read the book, and to read the whole book-not just sections, (which is what I did because I am a rebel)...It's always YOUR choice!

Morning! I'm excited. I have a potential boarder coming to look at my room for rent or the option of the cabin. He works for Bell and they're increasing cell service in my area. (which also mean high speed in the near future for moi)
I sold a piece of equipment and a bite today on kijiji or another.
Please keep your fingers crossed for me. Man would that be a relief!
Got your message Sun--will reply momentarily.
Morning everyone--did I say that already. lol
Has Fen checked in yet?
Keep it moving Jammers! xo
