Rog - if it is dire, why not just get a washer - the drying can go out on a line - that way you can still do both! I don't have a usable dryer and my part of the country gets way more rain than yours. I think the trip is important. Just my tuppence worth.
Vicki - thanks for the info - yes, I do all that - but for some reason, it still either does some or none or one or the other SOMETIMES it does both!!! LOL. I do know how to do it - it just doesn't want to co-operate!!

hallo family
I am home from Orlando and propped in bed......long, strage weekend
I was taken aweay from my birth mother at the age of three along with two half siblings...we were in foster care and at the age of 10 I was seperated from my sister, who was 81/2. The baby boy was adopted immediately, but no one wanted TWO little girls. I was finally adopted at 13, and my sister became an emancipated adult at 18 and eventualy ended up as a prostitute and heroin addict. She found God about 5 years ago and is clean. Anyway...........my birth mother tracked me down about 5 years ago and this weekend is the 2nd time we have visited. It was nice, but strange. I am sad to admit it, but she is an embarassment to me.She is vulgar and crude, has horrible table manners, chews with her mouth open as food flies out....I am being ugly, but honest. My kids and hubs were very polite, but we howled the whole way home as we hashed over the weekend. She is married to the man she had an affair with for 20 years...he found her after his wife died. She has facial whiskers and the kids called her Nanny Goat.....oh well....she is not a mother at all to me, but she loves us and I want to be kind....
Sounds like everyone had a Happy Easter......HAPPY BIRTHDAY SWANNNIE..SO GLAD YOU ARE HOME SAFE AND SOUND. Rubes, the kids sound hilarious and I know how much you adore them. See Sunni Butt..I can do BIG PINK. Rubes the pics are beautiful.....I have lowquats (same thing as kumquats???) growing like weeds in my back yard. I can send you some if you like.
RC I think of you often and hope you new store works out. I love you too Vicky...and yes...I am enjoying AA. I try to go to the noon meetings depending on work.
Off to put Icy Hot on my shins....they still ache like the Devil all the time

MB, I know this is hard for you when you have to reconnect with those who let you down as a child. I'm glad your sister is doing better now; do you have any contact with your brother? We can't choose the people we come from, and it pains me to think of what you've been through. But you are a strong, smart, beautiful woman, and can afford to be charitable with your mother in letting her have some contact with you. Now YOU can decide how much or how little you want that to be. I'll bet she brags about how well you've turned out, and she's proud of you. But I have to say I had a good laugh at your descriptions and your family's reaction!!sigpic

wow moma you have been thur alot and now you have come so far along in life and im so proud of you young lady .. ready i am .. when you can see what you have been thru in life and use it to learn from it ... and at least you got back in touch with your family thats great .......i wish i could .. im from a family of 14 and i only know where 6 of us are and the rest i have no clue where to even start looking...
but such is life and maybe one day ill start looking or one of them will look for me .. but for now im happy with the family i have ..just sue my boys and yes even the ex and i love the live far thing and do know where they live but i dont need to find them ... well it seem that we have SOME MIA'S AM I GOING TO HAVE TO SEND OUT AN ALL POINTS BULLETIN ON YOU FOLKS .. well please checkin .. we love ya and ill keep the light on ...
welmonday going to do as much as i can to finish this job by wed ..well the first and second parts which is just painting and then the painting of the garage floor .. well the moble shop is almost ready and the yard looks great did everything i could today to stay busy ..and it was a nice ralaxing day really

Morning Roger...got my coffee, still in a fog- it's actually foggy outside, too! Boy did we have a sunny day, yesterday-and so productive-got lots of yard work done, and got a bit of a sunburn in the process. Had ham, mashed potatoes, string beans and apple pie for Easter dinner- just the four of us. So a quiet Easter, which is how I like it.
Morning to all who jump in here, hope you all had a nice Easter, as well.

She is a bit odd sometimes but I just put up with it since she is all I have left for parents..well loquats not kumqauts, loquats related to pears I think and will put you to sleep hahaha T why don't you go to faith farm and get washer. My childhood made me the successful person I am today..I was adopted by very socially concious and education oriented people that made sure I got an ecxellent education and exposed to the arts and literature...plus when you bounce around alot as a child you get a little tough and VERY self sufficient. I am not complaining....just letting my family know where I was and why......
IF I START SPITTING FRITOS ACROSS THE TABLE AND GROW WHISKERS PLEASE SHOOT ME!!!!!!!!
Rog- look for them if you feel you need to, but my life was great before I found out.....not sure I wanted to know, b ut know I do so I deal with it. She loves me and clings to me and calls me several times a day and I don't have the heart to reject her.
Enough already about me...it's Monday and I need to get my ass in the shower......everyone have a happy, sober day
