          GOOD MORNING Everyone! IT ISN'T RAINING OH Joy of joys!!! And when I checked the radar - none in sight !!!! Oh gosh - I am so excited I don't know what to do with myself!!

          Ruby - love the idea of sending you a carton of Ensure - good one Grateful!!!! And Grateful - you really are SO sweet, which is why we all love you so much!! Especially old Rubes! Hill - yes, the weather is much better today - I won't be able to get out in the garden as it is sodden but after I go to the optician and get my lens prescription taken care of, I am going to the nursery to see what I can get for my fence boxes (like window boxes but they go on my fence!!) and pots - and barrels - I am so excited! Working outside - yeh!!

          Fluff - I am green - I would LOVE a pool. My daughter is house sitting this coming weekend for a friend with an inground heated pool and guess who is going over there......I do love swimming....

          Rog - all I can smell is English breakfast tea, no coffee here - and I still like the Tamiley name ! LOL. Your spelling makes me laugh - it is cute!

          Well I had better get on with getting another cuppa. OH - I have TRIED to make the bit above about it not raining BIG and PINK - so if it works, go me - if it doesn't, then I will just have to keep trying! It used to work - don't know why it does sometimes and others not!! I love my computer :l:l:l:l:l

              Ha! Sunshine! You sure you finally got the COLOR thing down? :H
              Yeah, the pool guys left- it's in ground and does have a heater but I'm not turning it on till
              mid May- it costs a lot to heat the pool- the pool temp right now is 53 degrees! BUT it's supposed to get up to 85 today so I am sure the pool will heat up a lot -it's in full sun.
              It's 9:30 -and I am starving-I haven't eaten yet so off to make some breakfast...
              Ruby that one pic of your pooch looks really evil-the closeup with his canines hanging out- I love doggies anyway and he is a cute one!

                Fluff, we won't open our pool for a couple weeks yet. We used to use a solar blanket and that sucker heated the water like mad. It will be lukewarm soon here anyway. Sometimes in summer I think we live on the sun! :H We don't have a diving board, too afraid all the kids would get hurt on it. But we do have a great slide, and this old girl STILL slides down it.
                Daughter's neighborhood has a gorgeous pool and community center. They even have a pavillion with an outdoor fireplace and grill. I told them their high annual neighborhood fees are worth it not to have to do all the pool maintenance! And there's even a community mariina on Lake Lanier. Think it's what Hubs and I should do later in life. Wait, that may be now! :H

                  Ruby-We don't have a diving board either, for the same reason. The pool actually got all the way up to 59 degrees, all by itself! I went up to walmart to get some rafts and swim stuff but their stuff is just coming in-so the shelves were a bit bare-got some more chemicals, though.
                  Your daughter's neighborhood sounds great- I would like to live in a community like that-after the kids are out of school and college...
                  I feel like I scared all the regulars away...w..a..i..t..is this the Thread Killer thread? Guess i killed it.

                    No, Fluffy, most of them are just busy during the days. I've been very useless today, not feeling to well yet. Just took some motrin, so hopefully I'll feel like doing some cooking later. Got so much to do and need to make some phone calls, but throat is so sore and my voice is just gone!
                    Yes, daughter got a VERY good buy on their house but it's way too big to suit me! 5 bedrooms/5 baths. Who wants to clean all that?? :H It actually was originally on the market for $800,000 but they bought it for less than 4. It's beautiful but I want to downsize these days.

                      Sticking nose in here, Ruby.....5 bedrooms/5 baths, only 3 kids......sounds like you could downsize and live with daughter!! And still have a pool that you wouldn't have to take care of! Your grands would love that!

                                Mom is doing great. They might kick her out of here on Friday (no guarantees). Then, she'll spend some time in a nursing facility to get her strength up. Thanks for asking...:h
