Thanks for your advice you lovely lot I made an appointment and was seen straight away on mega antibiotics so that should kick this infection into touch. I probably would not have gone to the doctors if you had not sent me. Bossy or what?:goodjob:

Oh dear, your weather sounds crappy. But it is a good excuse to get something done that you've been putting off. Put on your favourite music and crank it up. I find that helps.

Cassia, do you get tonsillitis often? I'm asking because my younger son who is 31 finally had his out a couple of years ago. Besides getting tonsillitis which meant high fever and very sore throat about once a year, there were other symptoms he had that he hadn't related to the tonsil problem. When he went to a doctor about the cramps he was having in his calves, the first thing the doctor asked him was if he still had his tonsils. And he had a general feeling of being tired although he eats properly, takes vitamins and exercises. He had his tonsils out and no more leg pains and in general feels better. He used to get mouth cankers once in a while and I believe he hasn't had one of those either since the tonsils went. Just something for you to think about. Hope the drugs knock in fast and that they help ease the pain in your throat. Those salt gargles help as well.
