Not the greatest of days overall, I went to AA this evening and then ended up confronting something in my life which has been a bit of an irritation for a while. It had to be said though and I do feel better for it. I always shy away from stuff like it and use the fact I am trying to get sober to avoid doing stuff like that, but people have pointed out to me that this certain situation carrying on isnt fair to me or the other person involved.

For once, I have actually started to make some big changes....

Good for you Kitty, if things arent working we need to look at why and make changes. If that means facing up to some things that cause us pain then so be it, it has to be done. There is no point in doing this half hearted or hiding from things because we will fail.
Today you wonthe battle and you are here to prove it at nearly midnight on a saturday night. Feel proud of your achievements, I am proud of you, you are doing great.

I did share something at the meeting , I will expand tomorrow - It's an ex boyfriend thing, we're not f-buds but buds (I moved on ...ish) but feel a bit 'tied' to this situation....
