    Army Thread 11th April

Opps ok young Reccie. What is it with those growing herbs you can get in the supermarkets, they always snuff it in a couple of weeks no matter how much I talk nicely to them.

Hi Molly, make sure that nasty mint is in a pot or it will smother your rampant spuds in no time.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Buggerit Molly - now I have to go to the garden centre today. Ok, so at least that's one thing on my To Do list for today (apart from frying bacon, that is). And a very good morning to you, BTW, Molly.

Know what you mean about the herbs ktabs. I don't even have to talk to 'em - usually if I just stand next to them or take a peek at them it's fatal. :upset:

        :hallo: Hello again, Army

My day has settled nicely, for which I'm grateful.

I've been Googling the art of rearing baby hamsters. Apparently we must just leave them alone and keep the mother well fed. If only having human babies had been so easy :upset::upset::upset:

I drew the line at chicken... Our rodent will remain steadfastly vegetarian(-ish) - I gave her some boiled egg.

I nearly died when our little hamster stuffed his face with a piece of chicken I thought someone was pulling me leg that hamsters ate meat.

Maybe I'll pop a wing into her cage tonight and see if she gnaws the bones clean...

They're bloody ugly, though: they look like fat wormy type things. A pink / red and hairless squirmy bunch...

Then again, I don't think newborn human babies are cute either. Both the cubs were pretty ugly when they were born. They were hairless too, BTW :H As bald as their dad...

                              Hiya Oney & EW

Other people's babies come out even uglier, of course... I've learned to lie about it with a straight face - it preserves friendships :goodjob:

You can have 8 - 10 of them Oney - I'll mail them off to you like I did with Tigger.
