Went to see my godmother yest and had a good chat about my dad. Came away feeling exhausted tho as these memories tend to have that effect on me.
Pleased I went
Today is gonna be a walking day, hope the weather holds

No stash, my dad was an alcoholic and he went spectacularly off the rails when I was 14. Never saw him again after I was 17. Just wanted to fill in some missing pieces.

That's so sad about your dad starts, I hope seeing your godmother yesterday gave you some peace.

Heard we lost another AA member recently, that's 2 so far this year.

On the bright side I get to see starts tomorrow!

my dad was an alcoholic too but in the later years he managed to give up so his years 45 onwards were the best that i remember! Anyhoo hope you are enjoying your hols and enjoy your walk are you still meeting kitty and cym tomorow?

Beautiful day here so Mario will be happy with the weather, I'm going dogging then biking before I hit today's to-do list.

Anon - you have had so much going on, no wonder you are feeling a bit down and flat. But we know you and you are not one for standing still for long and will bounce back to your amazing invincible self.

Starts - I can imagine yesterday being exhausting but if it helps fill in some bits of the jigsaw it's going to help.

:H Boring black suit with white blouse really! I got a nice black and white chiffon scarf that I wear with it so I dont look TOO boring!

Im going for clerical stuff though, suppose it depends on the job. If it was a non profit 'touchy feely' place, I would wear one of my large print maxi dresses with a smart jacket over it.
