thanks oney, to be honest i managed to get myself into a wonderful state of self pity and denial, it was silly of me to even think about leaving, I'm glad I realised that

Starty: To be honest the worst thing I could find is that my father is happy or god forbid has started another family, he's already made a mess of three sets of childrens lives, I would hate to know there was a 4th. End of the day though, the guy smoked a shocking amount and his doctor didn't reckon he'd make 60 - he'd be 62 or 63 this year so I know there's a good chance I'm nto gonna be seeing my dad again.

Ahhh we all get like that from time to time, I left meself for a good few months coz I got a bee in my bonnet over something.....

I came back because the support here was better than my family and my friends and it was full of people who "got" me....

Back from a weekend in the Lakes and funny thing was that most people were very happy not to drink!

I have discovered Elderflower Presse Wonderful.
Whenever I felt tempted to drink alcohol I thought of you lot and was able to resist temptation.
