    Army Thread 18th April

    Good morning, Army

Welcome to a new week. Strangely enough, I feel well rested and ready to tackle it. I think it has to do with the fact that I had a busy, enjoyable weekend. Come to think of it, I have very little to complain about at the moment. As long as I don't sweat the small stuff, which I have a tendency to do when I caught up in the daily grind.

Starty: best of luck to you for your interview. I'm sure you'll ace it :l
    I'll do whatever it takes

Thanks Tigger! I am actually quite excited and looking forward to it.

Was just catching up on last nights thread, looks like there might be a walking trip in the Lake District in the offing. Nice.

Just as an aside...I really am much less nervous about stuff now I dont drink.

Good morning tips and starty and all to come,

and a happy Monday and new week to everyone. Seems like most of us are still tucked up in bed.

Going to have a rare and brief meet up with my brother this lunchtime. Apparently my 16 year old niece (his daughter) has painted a picture for me and my brother has gone to the trouble of having it framed and is driving 70 miles to bring it to me. I've no idea whether the painting will be any good or not, but it's a very special gesture.

And then I have the dreaded appointment with my GP this afternoon. :upset:

And I believe startypants has an appointment this afternoon too. Best of luck with that starty. Most of all, let them see that you are enthusiastic, that you really want the job, that you are willing and able to learn if you get it. :goodluck:

Oh, and did I mention that I'm sober again? It's almost starting to become a habit.

I haven't read back yet, Starts - will go and have a squiz a bit later.

Yep - couldn't agree more about the nervousness thing. My self-confidence has grown in leaps and bounds over the past 18 months or so.

Morning, Reccie - congrats on another sober day. They all add up, so keep it going.

That is indeed a very sweet gesture - I hope you give it pride of place over the mantelpiece

Recciebear, thats lovely for you ! Special indeed! And the sober thing :goodjob:

If enthusiasm will get me the job, I have it, in bucketloads. Each time I read the JD I think I can do that and I WANT to do that!
Gonna hopefully knock em dead (not litereally) this arvo
