Hello Troopers.
Had a long but productive day at work and have just gotten the chance to log in a while ago and had a very quick glance over the posts.
Mario - so sorry for the loss of your friend. You've had more than your share of difficult things to deal with over the past months. I hope that in spite of that, you've been able to enjoy your special day. A special day for a special man...:hRecluse;1100935 wrote: Very painful, very upsetting, and quite productive. Main thing is I'm gonna get a referral to see someone for "help". Should've happened 40 years ago, but better late than never. Also doubled dosage of ADs, a bucketload of sleeping tablets, and possible referral to specialist services for deaf people - I need to read up on that first. And I've an appt to see her again in 3 weeks time. All in all, it's a big first step in the right direction.
As for the above, I hear progress for you as in wanting to get some help and to get out of the cycle you're now in. A specialist service for deaf people will no doubt put you into contact with people who have similar limited physical abilities as you do (damn, we're supposed to phrase it correctly and it comes out sounding wrong) and hopefully you will find some new friends who understand what you are up against better than we can as far as your hearing problem goes. As for the AL problem, we're all here rooting for you!!
Startypants, hope you get the job!!
Just stopped in for a quick post. Still have a zillion things to do before I head off to bed. Hope you've all had a lovely day...For every 60 seconds that you are angry, you lose a minute of happiness.

Now got an image in me head of a flat Panda lying across the doctor's text.
It could be worse, I could be filing.
